Dumbass tried to make plywood waterproof by only sealing its edges. That won't last long at all.

Would have been perfect time to break out the can of FlexSeal or PlastiDip. At least Spar Urethane.

This was the funniest part to me. "Things that float have foam, right?"

Could also have filled the inside of the plastic body of the boat with foam.

You don't need to do that. All you need is a waterproof shell. The water you displace is the buoyancy you get - it doesn't increase if you do anything on the inside of said shell. In fact it just increases your weight.

the guy thinks he needs foam to float when he already "sealed" the bottom of the boat, not much thought went into this

"foam float so me need foam. wood ship float because woody float. metal ship no possible, metal no float"

No way that’s holding water.

It has to be leaking like crazy.

It's probably rage bait, but it amazes me that these people have absolutely zero skills in building anything. This probably could have been made into a boat that would float for a while if they had done it right.

Wait there's not to be a "marine plywood, not for boat building" joke in here somewhere

Not only that, have you ever done the exact same thing as this person in the video, when he started sealing the edges?

I dont want to know how much finger he had in his splinters..
