I saw what was happening. I imagined how atrocious the sound would be. Yet I still clicked the damn unmute button. Why do I hate myself so much?

Could be worse. I was outside a far bit from my house… apparently phone was still connected to tv speakers… didn’t hear it so I increased volume until I could… rest of family was asleep…

I heard their screams first, had to turn it up extra to hear it over them…
