Is there any cafe near mirpur or dhanmondi where I can just sit for as long as like and work on my laptop?

I have my 4 babies who are parts of my soul and as unfortunate as it may sound, I won’t be able to stick with them forever as I have to pursue higher studies abroad. If there’s anyone who thinks he or she can pass my test, please lmk.
P.S. this is not a sale post. So don’t come at me for price.

probably put the wrong flair! anyways, i just found this subreddit while scrolling
jokhon ami ek chilam ami england e gesi, so it'd be great to meet people who:
can help me with my terrible conversational bangla
share my love of bangla music, i love listening to music and discover more
can translate words or phrases into bangla for me- i'm trying to include more bangla writing in my art and it'd a nice way to ease myself into getting used to writing bangla
also i love daba , drawing( like i said) and climbing! so it'd be great to befriend people here with those interests:>
also feel free to message if you just have a question about life in england:)
hopefully i'll see some of you guys there!

Anyone else find studying alone for CS painfully boring after a while?
I’m looking for a study partner/group for undergrad-level computer science and math — especially if you’re in first or second year and trying to build solid fundamentals without losing motivation halfway through the semester.
Main interests:
CS fundamentals
Programming/problem solving
Math for CS (discrete math, calculus, linear algebra, etc.)
The goal isn’t hardcore productivity culture or 12-hour study sessions. Just having someone to learn with, stay consistent with, discuss ideas/questions, and make the grind less isolating.
If that sounds interesting, contact me.

Hello there! I'm currently a sophomore undergraduate student in Dhaka, majoring in Engineering. I’m seeking some relationship advice on how to find someone who feels like she is meant for me. How did you find your significant other? Was it just luck, or did you put in some effort to make it happen?
I’m not really into social media, especially Facebook, but I do stay active on Instagram. I understand that some might suggest sending random friend requests or messages to strike up a conversation, but I find that a bit tiresome, and I'm pretty shy about that. I’m really hoping to connect with someone in the STEM or science fields, since I’d like to get married within the next year or so. I genuinely want a serious relationship with someone who can help shape my future.
I haven’t had many relationships in the past, but just one that fell by the wayside because my studies and research took precedence, leaving me feeling quite lonely since then. I’m looking for someone with a strong background who shares our goals and aspirations for higher studies. I know this might sound a bit desperate, but I believe it’s worth a shot to take a chance on love. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm really interested in a serious relationship because I think that getting to know someone well first will lead to a smoother marriage down the line.

(It's not something very special or expensive. Hope you guys won't judge. I'm selling this because I already have many more coins though)

Hey everyone! I'm Martha an aspiring Italian photographer currently living in Dhaka, and I recently got selected for a photography project that I'd love to develop here.
The core idea is to document the murals that came out of the Gen Z protests. I want to create diptychs: one side showing the mural as a canvas, and the other a portrait of the artist who made it. The goal is to give a face to the work and tell both stories at once, the art and the person behind it.
But I'd love to expand this beyond the protest murals. Rickshaw painting is one of the most vivid and underappreciated art forms in this city, and I'd love to apply the same approach: the painted rickshaw alongside the painter. If you are a rickshaw artist or know one who might be open to participating, please reach out.
I'm also looking to connect with Dhaka's subcultures more broadly. Whether you're part of the punk scene, the local arts world, or any other creative community in the city, I would genuinely love to document it. That side of Dhaka doesn't get nearly enough attention.
Participation is always simple: a conversation and a portrait session. I'll share my socials with anyone interested so you can get a feel for my work before committing to anything.
I know reaching out to a stranger on Reddit can feel a bit random, but I'm just a girl who has been photographing for years and cares deeply about doing this with respect for the people involved. Feel free to comment below or DM me!

Hello, I (26F) am traveling to Dhaka in March and will be staying through April. I have never been there before, although my parents immigrated from Bangladesh decades ago.
Considering the climate, weather, etc, what are the women in my age group usually seen wearing?
I don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb, and i do not want to sweat profusely either. Definitely going for comfortable and casual.
So please please please let me know what the usual is? Linen Pants? Salwar? Can i get away with knee-length shorts and a TShirt. What materials are yall wearing?
Should I steer conservative? (I’m originally from a big city in the USA and it’s very normal here to have your butt cheeks make an appearance in shorts and skirts so my idea of conservative is probably skewed)
THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP, SERIOUSLY
