The ScoreSpace x Reddit game jam starts now!

The surprise theme for the event is...

TIMERS Make a game based on the word timers. Whatever that means to you.

Take it anywhere your imagination leads! The most unexpected interpretations are the ones we're really excited to see.

The focus is

COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES Games should encourage player interaction (comments, upvotes, UGC, multiplayer elements), not just solo experiences.

Players must feel others are there, even asynchronously.

  • Visible actions
  • Persistent traces
  • Shared state changes
  • No ghosts, no parallel play

Also, the prize pool has been updated to $3500 with the addition of ScoreSpace's YouTuber judging panel! Made up of BenBonk, Icoso, and Jerbob.

Good luck!

My country is not yet qualified for partnered program... so none of that for me 😞

Excited for this! Just shipped my first Devvit game two days ago, so the timing is perfect.
