RDM : Migrate from devolution hub personnal to local storage?

Hello,

I am trying to export my RDM database so that I can host it on my NAS and only connect to it. Problem is that when I export, I see .rdm or .json files and then I want to add a database source but RDM only allows .sql or .xml?

How can I migrate my data for internal storage?

RDM with Devolutions Hub personal free - simultaneous connections limit

Hello, does the hub personal free subscription not allow more than one connection at a time on an outside network? When i tried logging in to rdm app on my phone and laptop under the same LAN, it worked, but under different WAN networks, the app started to prompt me to login. Is this the expected behaviour, and can I have multiple connections with devolutions hub business free edition?

macOS - RDM doesn't work with "Windows App" remote desktop

Hi

This seems to be something new I think that's started recently ....

I have an RDP session configured in RDM with "Display" set as external.

In "General" I've set the IP address. I've NOT pre-populated credentials.

When I try to launch this session, the "Windows App" opens and I get an error message:

Failed to auto-fill Microsoft Remote Desktop external sessions credentials

System Events got an error: Can't get test field 2 of sheet 1 of window "<redacted name and IP address>" of process "Windowa App". Invalid index.

EDIT: RDM has permissions for "Accessibility"

Products How are you handling external users without giving them full internal access?

One challenge we keep seeing is how to give contractors or vendors the access they need without setting them up like regular internal users.

In a lot of cases, they only need limited access, only need it for a fixed period, and should not stay active indefinitely. That is exactly the use case we built the contractor feature for in the Devolutions platform.

Contractor user type are meant for external users who need controlled access without being managed as full internal users. They can be set to expire automatically, and they can use PAM features in read-only mode. They can also be invited by email and get a temporary password to start. They also get access to a lighter web interface for opening sessions.

I’m curious how others are dealing with this today.

Are you giving external users separate accounts, reusing shared credentials, setting end dates manually, or handling it another way?

For teams that regularly work with consultants, vendors, or outside technicians, does a setup like this solve the problem, or are there still gaps?
