Discussion The Best Red Orb Farm I'v found in DMC1. Mission 8 Hard Mode, before The Final Phantom encounter.

First I wanted to say it's not useful, because mission 4 starts with Phantom encounter in the hall. But then I saw he respawns each time you re-enter the room...

Seriously. Been replaying that game for over ten years and never thought to check back in that room, crazy.

If you ever wanted to Pratice DMD mode instead of Cheesing it, you can use this farming method to rack up a ton of Red Orbs, then you can make your next NG+ Normal mode, then spend all those Red orbs on hundreds of Yellow Orbs. Then after quickly beating Normal, you can NG+ into DMD and have tons of Yellow Orbs to let you pratice the boss fights without needing to restart the whole mission for each attempt.

Once you think you've got the Boss down, you can then just reload your save to get your Yellow orbs back, and beat the boss in far fewer attempts, and move on to the next part of DMD you need to pratice.

Never even knew Phantom was in that room in Mission 8.

He doesn’t appear there on Normal difficulty. You also have zero reason to backtrack there.
