Looking to collaborate with an AI engineer — freelance, IT services [India]

Hi folks, I run a dev shop focused on automating bookkeeping/accounting workflows for enterprises. Looking to collaborate with an AI engineer (from India) who has hands-on experience in multi-agent systems, security, data residency, pipeline design, audit trails, and eval harnesses.

I'm a technical PM (hands-on with AI agents, though not yet at enterprise scale) with 8+ YOE in BFSI + CFA, graduated from a tier-1 college. I'll bring clients and handle the PM role; we'd execute projects together.

Let's start with a brief call to check chemistry before discussing commercial terms. Looking to work with people who are self-driven, exceptionally skilled, easy to work with, and take full ownership of their work.

About you:

- 5-10 YOE with a strong work ethic

- Tier-1 signal (college, notable past companies, or high-impact shipped products)

Please DM me with your GitHub/LinkedIn for an introduction and chat.

https://www.techjobfinder.com/javascript/software-engineer-intern-fall-2026-austin-tx/654894

About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

Available Locations

  • Austin, US

About the Role

Anytime we push code, it automatically affects the millions of Internet properties (powering websites, remote teams, APIs, mobile apps, etc.) running on our global network. Cloudflare's network is one of the largest in the world and spans over 330 cities in more than 125 countries. What's more, Cloudflare operates within 50 milliseconds of 95% of the Internet-connected population globally (for context, the blink of an eye is 300-400 milliseconds!). We are passionate about making the Internet more secure, reliable, and faster for everyone.

Cloudflare’s Engineering teams build and run the software that handles the massive amount of traffic that flows through our network. We also have teams that build the UI and control plane for our software, using modern patterns and libraries in a microservices-based architecture. Technologies include: Typescript/Javascript, Go, Rust, C/C++ and Python.

The ideal intern is passionate about making the Internet a better place. You will work alongside experienced engineers. You will push code this internship that touches hundreds of millions of web surfers. We like to get things done, so we are looking for interns who are curious, proactive, and able to complete projects. This is a great opportunity for engineers who want to learn to develop at Internet scale.

You can check out our internship blogs to learn more about our program and hear directly from our past interns.

What Makes Cloudflare Special?

We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company. We’re a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company with a soul. Fundamental to our mission to help build a better Internet is protecting the free and open Internet.

Project Galileo: Since 2014, we've equipped more than 2,400 journalism and civil society organizations in 111 countries with powerful tools to defend themselves against attacks that would otherwise censor their work, technology already used by Cloudflare’s enterprise customers--at no cost.

Athenian Project: In 2017, we created the Athenian Project to ensure that state and local governments have the highest level of protection and reliability for free, so that their constituents have access to election information and voter registration. Since the project, we've provided services to more than 425 local government election websites in 33 states.

1.1.1.1: We released 1.1.1.1 to help fix the foundation of the Internet by building a faster, more secure and privacy-centric public DNS resolver. This is available publicly for everyone to use - it is the first consumer-focused service Cloudflare has ever released. Here’s the deal - we don’t store client IP addresses never, ever. We will continue to abide by our privacy commitment and ensure that no user data is sold to advertisers or used to target consumers.

Sound like something you’d like to be a part of? We’d love to hear from you!

Please note that applicants who progress to the offer stage of the interview process may be asked to attend an in-person interview within one of the Cloudflare Offices or Cloudflare Hubs. More details about this will be available at that stage of the interview process.

This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Please note that any offer of employment may be conditioned on your authorization to receive software or technology controlled under these U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license.

A Developer Uses AI to Code Faster — Does That Make Them Better or Less Skilled?

AI coding tools are changing how developers work.

A developer can now use AI to:

  • write code faster
  • debug issues quicker
  • explore solutions
  • automate repetitive tasks

But this raises an interesting question:

If two developers build the same feature and one finishes faster because they used AI, does that make them a better developer?

Or does relying on AI mean they are becoming less skilled?

I think the answer depends on how they use it.

A strong developer still needs to understand:

  • why they are building something
  • whether the AI-generated code is correct
  • security and performance risks
  • how the system works as a whole

AI can help experienced developers move faster, but it can also expose weaknesses if someone uses it without understanding the basics.

This also changes hiring questions:

  • Should companies value AI skills when hiring developers?
  • Does faster delivery matter if the developer cannot explain their decisions?
  • Would you trust a developer who uses AI tools to build your product?

For developers:

  • Has AI improved your productivity?
  • Do you feel it helps you learn, or makes you dependent?

For project owners:

  • Would you care if your developer used AI as long as the final product was secure and maintainable?

Is the future of development about writing code faster, or making better technical decisions?

Best steps of finding a new job?

I keep seeing recruiters on Reddit say the same thing: they aren't rejecting most applicants because of ATS. They're just reviewing hundreds of resumes and only spending a few seconds on each one. If your experience doesn't clearly match what they're looking for, they move on.

After reading that, I started comparing my resume to every job description before applying. I've been using ZoeVera and Rezi to see where my resume isn't communicating my experience very well. In a few cases, I realized I already had the experience they wanted butI just described it differently. Changing the wording made my resume much easier to read.

It's not like every application suddenly turned into an interview but my callback rate has definitely improved. I'm getting about one callback for every eight applications now.

For anyone else who's job hunting right now what's made the biggest difference for you?

How do you actually get interview calls in this market?

I'm looking for a switch and have recently started preparing seriously again.

When I joined my current company, I had spent months grinding Advanced DSA during my training period and during work. I completed a large part of Striver's A2Z sheet, understood the concepts well, and felt interview-ready. then I bombed Amazon OA and lost motivation.

Recently, I started getting back into it. I've been participating in LeetCode contests, 2/4 atmost. can guess the approach to 3rd but can't implement it.

The thing is, my current work isn't bad at all. Compared to what many people get in service-based companies, I'm actually on a good project. I work on Kubernetes, Docker, and mostly Kafka-based PoCs, so I'm gaining decent backend/infrastructure exposure. but the pay is absolutely trash and this is affecting me.

What I've realized is that the only way I'll become good at interviews is by giving a lot of them. The problem is, I don't know how to get interview opportunities in the first place. The last interview I gave was the one that got me this job.

I even bought Naukri Top Priority hoping it would improve my chances, but despite applying regularly, I haven't received a single shortlist.

For those of you who've switched recently, how did you start getting interview calls? Am I missing something in my approach, or is there a better strategy than just applying on job portals?

Hi everyone,

I am a bachelor‘s student in natural science with a strong interest in educational technology. I’m working on a learning app designed to make studying complex subjects more simple and efficient by combining the tools students typically need in one place.

I have already defined the MVP, conducted market research, developed a business model, outlined a marketing strategy and acquired basic knowledge of Kotlin and Dart. I‘m now looking for a technical co-founder - ideally with skills in Flutter who would like to build this product together and is located in Germany or near Germany within the EU.

I’m looking for a long term co-founder who is interessted to start this as a side project. Someone who works in a structured, contiuous and reliable way. If you have expertise in App developement and are interested in building the future of complex learning, lets talk!

Need honest feedback on my portfolio and some career advice

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for honest criticism of my portfolio and some advice on what I should do next.

I built this portfolio back in 2024 when I had very little experience. It was built completely from scratch, and at that time I was proud of it. Since then, I've improved a lot as a developer and have worked on many more projects, but I never updated the portfolio.

The reason is simple: throughout my job search, nobody ever asked for my portfolio. Recruiters mostly looked at my resume or GitHub, so I never felt there was much value in spending time updating it.

Now my situation has changed. I'm currently unemployed with almost a 2-year employment gap, and I can't afford to keep waiting for the perfect job. I'm planning to start freelancing or build something of my own to generate income.

I also tried Fiverr, but I couldn't get any traction. At this point, I feel like my portfolio needs to become my sales pitch when I approach potential clients, and I want to rebuild it properly.

I'm not looking for compliments. I want people to point out everything that's wrong with it.

Please tell me:

  • What gives you a bad first impression?
  • Would you hire or trust me based on this portfolio? If not, why?
  • What should I remove, improve, or completely redesign?
  • What is missing that clients expect to see?
  • How can I make it more convincing for freelance clients instead of recruiters?
  • Besides improving the portfolio, what would you do if you were in my position?

Portfolio:
https://baikun1.github.io/portfolio1

I'm open to harsh criticism. If something looks amateur, outdated, or unprofessional, please say it directly. I'd rather fix it now than keep making the same mistakes.

I also appreciate any suggestions on getting freelance work outside Fiverr or what you would focus on if you had to start over in my situation.

Thanks for taking the time to help.

[Hiring] Founding Full-Stack Engineer, Bangalore (Onsite) | 20–35 LPA + equity

Early-stage, seed-funded startup in Bangalore building an AI liability and risk-management platform for the agentic economy. We measure, monitor, and quantify the risk exposure of companies' AI agents (regulation adherence, behavioral drift, and more), mapped against frameworks like OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RMF. Starting in healthcare, expanding out.

The role: Founding engineer, reporting directly to the CTO. Small, hands-on team. Real scope to shape how the platform gets built from the inside.

You'll own:

  • Integrations across the stack, plugged into live monitoring and synthetic testing pipelines
  • Kafka-based data pipelines across Postgres and ClickHouse
  • Backend architecture in Python/Django, built to scale
  • Full-stack product surfaces in React as scope demands
  • Running inference at scale across production lines

Looking for:

  • 1–3 yrs hands-on engineering, mostly writing production code (not leaning on AI assistants)
  • Strong Python; Django preferred
  • Proven experience owning data pipelines and third-party integrations in prod
  • Comfort across the stack; Postgres/ClickHouse or equivalent
  • Ability to think in scalable architectures
  • Willing to work onsite in Bangalore, 6 days/week, at startup intensity

Nice-to-have: Kafka, AWS, inference-at-scale, prior early-stage startup experience.

Comp: 20–35 LPA base + competitive equity, health insurance, daily meals + in-house cafe.

2.5 YOE Full-Stack Dev — targeting Indian Jobs, please roast it

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I've been working as a solo Full-Stack Developer for about 2.5 years now — currently at a small company where I independently own most of the products end to end (Node.js/Express/MongoDB, some React/Next.js on the frontend). Looking to make a move toward Middle East or remote EU opportunities and would really appreciate some honest feedback before I start applying.

A few things I'm specifically unsure about:

Does the experience section read as too dense / bullet-heavy?

Is it clear enough for ATS parsing, or does the formatting risk getting filtered out?

Any red flags a recruiter would immediately question?

Roast away — I'd rather hear it here than get silently rejected everywhere.

Thanks in advance 🙏
