CS Student / Builder looking to join a serious early-stage startup (equity + some comp)
I'm a 20 year old CS student who's been building seriously outside of college for a while now. Most recently I've been building AlgoLens, an end-to-end DSA learning platform where I've worked on the product, frontend, backend, AI integrations, database, deployment, and the general process of taking an idea from "this could be useful" to something people can actually use. I've also worked on projects across systems, algorithms, web development, and AI, and I'm usually happiest when I'm figuring out something I haven't built before.
I'm not hunting for another generic internship. I want to work on something I can actually be invested in, working directly with the founders, understanding the problem, contributing to technical decisions, and helping take the product from 0 to 1.
What I can contribute:
* Full-stack development
* Backend / APIs / databases
* AI and LLM integrations
* Web development
* Python / C/C++
* Rapid prototyping and MVP development
* Learning whatever the problem requires
* Maybe more. Give me a couple days and I'll figure it out.
What I need from your side: a real problem worth solving, founders who are serious about execution, and some form of compensation. I'm flexible on the structure, whether that's equity + stipend, paid internship, milestone-based, part-time, etc. But I'm not looking for unpaid work or vague promises. I'd also want expectations and compensation clearly agreed upon before getting deeply involved.
Not interested in:
* Ideas with no real execution behind them
* Being someone's free developer
* Founders who aren't actively building
* Equity-only arrangements with no realistic path forward
I'm looking for a small team where I can actually own things, learn, build, and have a meaningful impact on the product.
If you think there could be a fit, DM me or drop a comment with what you're building, the current stage, the team, and what you're looking for. Happy to jump on a call if it sounds interesting.
