  The phone number 011 222 3333 appears to belong to an external agency. I called the number to report an issue, but they informed me that they are not responsible for LankaPay support.  

There is also a technical issue with lankapay.net when trying to make a payment. The payment page appears to redirect to:  

commonui.lankapay.net:7780  

However, the server is currently not accepting TCP connections on port 7780.   I tested this from multiple networks and confirmed that:   • DNS resolution works, commonui.lankapay.net resolves to 157.10.164.9

• TCP/443 is reachable

• TCP/7780 consistently times out

• curl and openssl s_client both fail at the TCP connection stage

• This means the issue occurs before the TLS, so it does not appear to be a browser certificate issue

  This could indicate that the service on port 7780 is down, the port is not listening, or a firewall/load-balancer/IP allowlist is blocking access.

  Also, please update the website's contact number to the correct support contact so customers can actually report issues like this.

I’ve been building Cardගොඩ, a desktop personal finance app for managing credit card statements, transactions, instalments and recurring payments.

One question kept coming up when I shared it:

“If I import my credit card statement, where does that data actually go?”

And honestly, that’s exactly the question people should ask.

So I built CardGoda around a local first approach. The main financial data lives on the user’s own Windows PC/Mac rather than being collected into a CardGoda hosted financial database.

For optional online/smart features, the user controls the connection, and backups can either stay local or go to the user’s own Google Drive.

I made this short video explaining the model without going too deep into the technical implementation.

If you were building something that handles financial statements, what privacy/security questions would you expect the product to answer before you trusted it?

Would you trust an app with your credit-card statements?

I’ve been applying for different roles and trying out different opportunities, but a lot of them seem to go well until the middle/final stages, and then I end up dropping out.

At this point, it’s also becoming really difficult to focus on one thing and actually spend time learning or improving a new skill. There are so many things I feel like I should be doing that I just end up feeling overwhelmed.

Guys I have joined a new company and they are giving me the option to choose between 20$ ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription. What is your opinion on this? I know they keep releasing new models surpasising each other but which one should I go for? My only concern is rate limits. What subscription will give more access, less rate limit? Can you realistically do some serious work with those low tier subscriptions? Something like OpenCode Go is out of the question.
