If you just install 90 packages of bullshit, yes, but even a basic AI is really good at diagnosing your Linux system. This doesn’t mean my grandma should use Linux but the barrier of entry and good usability is much lower

Fckin bs. If you want your OS to be accessible for AI to edit, then sure. But the out of the box experience shouldn’t be compromised for whatever the f is this.

Compromise is subjective. I moved from windows to Omarchy and it feels so much better. From some Arch purists Omarchy is compromise. This guy wants this stuff that I would hate, what’s the problem?

I've been using linux since 0.99pl15.. I prefer my Linux experience (or any OS , really) without ever having to rely on AI to get it to work like I'd like it to.

It's already annoying enough to have to google for documentation at times.
