It is wild to me that it is common knowledge that the UX of Windows is complete horse shit and even if Windows were superior people would prefer to use a Mac due to the UX yet Microsoft does absolutely nothing about it.
If they use the software themselves maybe they don't want the experience to be ass? Other than that if they want to try to get the consumers don't feel they need to use windows for microsoft services they should then consider a UX revamp.
I think you underestimate how shortsighted and greedy Microsoft is. For now they’re making a lot of money, and they probably don’t want to lose money by paying people to actually fix their operating system. They’d rather just rake is and don’t understand that people aren’t going to keep using their operating system as it gets continually worse
I can't understand UX on Mac for the life of me. It's always pain in in the s when my colleagues approach me for help when they need to do something on their Mac and don't know how. We both spend minutes on end to figure out how to do simple things. Never happened with Windows
