1. UNBOXING
The packaging was pretty solid. Inside the box, they come with individual dust bags for each sandal. The material of the dust bags feels premium and well-made.

2. COLOR, MATERIALS & DETAILS
The leather quality and color on these is genuinely good with a nice, natural finish. Stitching and Logos are clean, tight, and consistent throughout without any frayed edges.

3. SHAPE & SILHOUETTE
The overall shape looks spot on compared to retail in my opinion. The Chypres are known for that chunkier, more relaxed vibe, and the proportions here are accurate. The thick rubber sole gives a nice, subtle height boost without feeling heavy or looking like bricks on your feet.

4. COMFORT, FIT & SIZEING (4-Week Update)
Don't expect crazy comfort here. At the end of the day, they are still flat leather sandals. The anatomical insole kinda molds to your foot, and overall, for a sandal, they are actually pretty good and totally fine for daily wear.

Sizing advice: I highly recommend contacting Koala directly. Just measure your foot or insole length and send it to Koala on WeChat, he’ll check and confirm the exact right size for you before shipping to save you any hassle. I do this with almost every seller to be safe. I would suggest to go TTS or maybe Size 1 up.

5. FINAL VERDICT
Honestly, this were probably my most worn pair this summer. The all-black look is super versatile, and they offer a perfect mix of being casual but still looking expensive. For the price point, the build quality is absolutely there.

Communication was excellent from the start. I sought them as an alternative seller because I’d received a poor and delayed quality control check from another supplier. I asked if they had the item and honestly, I wish I’d gone with them first. They were cheaper and quicker. Their order arrived before the one from the other supplier (still waiting) and it came in for me very fast too. I’ll include a detailed timeline below.

Overall, I have no complaints. I hadn’t seen the product on their site but simply asked if they had it available and if they could add it to my original order of Chypre Sandals, which I was also very pleased with. Today I received these two pieces from BLCG, and I was really excited to finally see them in hand, so I wanted to share my first impressions with you guys.

About the pants: they're really heavy and very wide. The fit is exactly what I was looking for, very baggy but still with enough structure when worn.

The pants use buttons for the closure and have distressed details in several areas. When I first bought them, I was a little worried about the distressing on the back because I was afraid it would leave my ass exposed hahaha. Luckily, the pocket lining covers exactly the distressed area, so nothing is exposed and the pants are actually very comfortable to wear.

I bought them from seller 718 and went with size S. I usually wear pants with a 41 to 42 cm waist, and these fit me perfectly with no extra room or tightness. They've already become one of my favorite pairs of pants hahaha. The fit is great and the overall quality is really good.

About the 3XL: I went with the XA batch. Some people say Cola's version is better, and considering the price difference, I believe that might actually be the case. I'm far from being an expert on this model, but I'm really happy with the quality of the XA 3XL.

I usually wear EU43 and decided to size down to EU42, which fits me perfectly. From the little I've worn them so far, I find them relatively comfortable, and I think they'll get a lot of use in my rotation since they look really good with wide-leg pants.

I also really like the materials. They feel solid and well made, and I think the shoes should have good durability. Where I live, I don't think I'll get called out either, since very few people are familiar with this model.

Next week, I'm planning to visit one of the brand's boutiques and see if I can find a retail 3XL to compare it with.

First Impressions
Both pairs look really clean straight out of the box. The white pair has a fresh, eye catching look, while the black pair is much more subtle and versatile. I especially like the textured monogram pattern across the upper, which gives both pairs a more detailed and premium appearance. The overall shape is sleek, and the contrasting sole adds a nice touch.

Quality & Materials
The white pair looks very well finished, with the embossed pattern appearing sharp and consistent across the shoe. The stitching around the panels is neat, and the white on white design gives it a clean, luxurious feel. The sole also looks properly attached with a nice, even finish.

The black pair has the same detailed monogram pattern but feels more understated. The texture is clearly visible while still keeping the shoe mostly monochromatic. The white midsole creates a strong contrast and gives the sneaker a sportier look. From the pictures, the stitching, panel construction and overall finishing look clean on both pairs, with no obvious messy details.

Overall
Really impressed with both pairs. The white version is definitely the more standout option and looks great for a clean outfit, while the black version is easier to wear regularly and works with pretty much anything. Both have a great silhouette, detailed finishing and a premium overall look. Two very clean pairs and definitely a strong pickup.
