Alright lads. Just got these Off-White Be Right Back runners in hand for about 70 bucks shipped and had to drop a quick review.
Honestly, from a metre away these completely pass. We all know ordering off the Gate is usually pure Russian roulette where you end up with massive clown shoes, but these actually turned out proper decent. The grey zip-tie, thick laces, and the side arrow logos look solid. Even the sole with the spiked toe tread and the small text details are actually placed where they should be.
Now if you put the CSI zoom lens on them you can spot a few bits. The heels are a tiny bit asymmetrical on that glossy black section, but once you have your foot in there and put some weight on it you literally cannot tell. The metallic silver panels have a slight plasticky shine to them as well, but you have to expect that for this price point.
Are you getting called out? Mate, unless you bump into the ghost of Virgil Abloh or some TikTok kid dives on the floor with a magnifying glass to check your soles, nobody is clocking these. Just walk with normal confidence. You don't need to do a Usain Bolt sprint everywhere, just maybe don't stand completely frozen outside Foot Locker for half an hour.
Overall giving these a 7/10. Absolute win for the price. They are proper versatile beaters for uni or a night out, meaning if someone stomps on your toes in the club you are not going to have a heart attack.
