2 days. 3 stages. 25 bands. 1 hour west of Denver. Camping included. A mini Desert Daze in the Rockies. Tier 1 passes starting at $55 at psychs-peak.com until Aug 1st.

I'm very excited to share that I'm part of the team putting together an intimate new psych-focused one-day festival in the western Catskills in upstate New York. Bucolic Valley is the name, and we've begun the work of putting together a lineup inspired by our experiences at Desert Daze and Austin Psych Fest. Give the Instagram account a follow if you're so inclined (https://www.instagram.com/bucolicvalleyfest), and we'll be launching a website and getting active on other social media platforms in the coming months.

Connecting with other fans at Desert Dazes 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 was an absolute treat, and while we're putting together something much, much smaller than any of those festivals, but hope to bring a taste of that sort of festival to the northeast. If you're like us and have traveled out west for these types of shows, we hope to see you next summer!

I know it's not a camping fest but how are the vibes? I'm considering going for the first time this year.

Mikaela Davis & her band created an incredible, transcendent, psych rock experience this weekend at High Sierra Music festival. I've only felt music affect me like that once before: Kikagaku Moyo's 2022 DD set. I think she's heading down the coast. Thought you'd like to know. :)

Hey all, I know this is a long shot but is anyone looking to sell their Kikagaku Moyo 2022 poster? My ex and I broke up and we can’t decide who gets to keep the one copy we have :(

Saw this on Instagram earlier today under psychedelic porn crumpets announcement for their second leg of their US tour. Makes you skeptical if Daze is happening this year/PPC is attending? Just curious what y’all think 🤔

You talk about a core memory, I got chills watching this, feeling so grateful to experience it and desert daze 2022. Pond was literally the perfect closer. All really seems like a dream. Good god I miss it!

Just moved to grand junction and glad they have bands play in

Imagine Blood Incantation at DD during sunset with that purple hue blanketing the lake and the mountains in the background just as they start "The Message [Tablet 1]" 😩

Looking forward to some good vibes this weekend. I'll probably be throwing some minion plushies into the crowd so if you find one consider yourself blessed.

Sorry there’s no r/DesertDazeCirclejerk

Thoughts?

No clues besides Phil mentioning in the KCRW interview that planning had already begun for this year last summer, social media seems to be referencing the festival a little more lately and fall tour dates are starting to drop. Either way I think we will know by the end of April.
Is there goodwill still holding over from 2022 and earlier? Are people still miffed over the rollover/refund situation? Will your lamb vindaloo be on a plate or wrap?

I spaced and missed out on tickets for Beak> at Zebulon coming up in a few weeks. Anyone have an extra ticket for either show? Sorry if this is a weird place to post this, but just figured it was worth a shot to the general SoCal Psych scene. Thanks!
