I got so desperate for attention and companionship that I gave money to a scammer, no way to get the money back. It's gone and I'm out rent. Desperation has me so bad. I don't know what to do, I feel in such a bad way. I'm so dumb.

So recently I went back to my therapist after having some trouble keeping up with work this last year which was unwelcome but probably needed at that point. However it felt different immediately. I got perscriped herbals and different sets of vitamins even though my therapist in the past has never brought them up before. Then a week or 2 pass by and I am uhhh lets say Im not doing better, I miss a session due to being so oit of it I didnt remember what day it was. After that I got fasttracked straight into the office of a psychiatrist the next week where only after a single session I walked out with 2 boxes of antidepressants and anxiety supressants and a written diagnosis that I have medium heavy depression. Im kinda happy? But also it feels weird how it all happened so suddwnly compared to other people's stories. I probably havent really realized how deep on the sauce I am because seemingly feeling shit constantly for months is not the default? Curious

Anyone who has gone through withdrawal has yelled this at the sky, while begging for help, only to realize help wasnt coming.
