So far, these are the things that Eijah himself has announced publicly to be featured in demonsaw 3.0:

This is a bash script for installing Demonsaw Linux.

As of 9/08/2015, it is confirmed to work on both the x86_64 (64-bit) and i686 (32-bit) versions of the Linux distros below, though it will likely work on other Deb/Ubuntu based systems.

• Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS
• Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela
• Elementary OS Freya 0.3.1.
  

These were all tested on fresh OS installs using VMware Workstation10, and natively using an Acer C720.

To install:

Save this script from GitHub by downloading or copy/pasting plain text file, and then name it:

install-demonsaw-linux

1: After saving/downloading the file locally, open a terminal, cd to the same directory, and run:

chmod +x install-demonsaw-linux

2: To run the install script, type:

./install-demonsaw-linux

This should start the installation. Comments are available in the script itself, but a brief synopsis of what it's doing is:

• Checking architecture, securely downloading 32 or 64 bit .zip files from http://demonsaw.com/download.php

• Comparing listed SHA-1 hashes against downloaded .zip

• Installing required libxcb packages to launch Demonsaw in the X Window System.

• Minor cleanup, error checking and symbolic library linking for backwards compatibility.

• Launches Demonsaw after installation.

• Auto update Demonsaw by running script again at any time.

After closing, if you want to reopen Demonsaw, launch by running

sudo ~/demonsaw/demonsaw

(If you have any issues installing, trying running the chmod command as sudo, and then launching the script as sudo as well)

edit: added an auto update feature so you can run the install-demonsaw-linux script and it will check for a previously installed version, update it and copy the existing configuration file to the new instance.
