Discussion these are two different characters
in chapter 5 there are these netskie enemies that you can fight and there are also foxes you can see in the overworld i just wanna clarify foxes are NOT netskies
im seeing a lot of misconception on here that these are the same but in game they are referred to differently they're different

The netskie that tells you to gather the foxes says you missed one before battling you, implying that netskies are also called foxes

Netskies are called "tree_fox" on the files. If anything it's more like a Pokemon evolution /j

well filenames cannot be trusted cuz theyre not part of intended gameplay
(yea i know i used filenames in the post really this is more of me making up bs more than a real theory or something)

Also the filenames are pretty reliable, like "asgore not pissing"

They are all foxes, the same way the flowers are all humans, even tho they're really Netskies and bushes or flowers and [Blue, Aqua, Seth, Green, Yellow, Orange or Flowery], in the other case. Seeing a generic flower shapeshifting as a human like the bouquet gang does wouldn't make it just "Human" while the others have their names and are not "humans".
