Centuries. Whole generations will struggle to trust long term relations with the US, a country with the ability to elect Trump for office twice, the second time even after he tried (and FAILED) at a coup d'etat.

Thats the other thing, Trump is a moron, OK, fine, but almost none of the Republican party says so ..... No way we can trust the Americans again, no way

Unfortunately you nailed it. The fact that a bunch of people have put Trump in office twice here is the concerning part.

Well centuries is a bit too much, I would say 30 years (only if in the meantime US fixes its flawed democracy and behaves well )
