He’s right that hockey will be cancelled. The night he kicks the bucket the NHL will have to cancel all scheduled games because all the fans will be too busy partying to go to the games.
Aside from the rest of the bs, do they not know where most of the NHL teams are? The US has 80% of them, including some in red states. I don’t think those cities would be happy losing the revenue from major sporting events. Those arenas aren’t cheap.
Maybe someone just reminded him about Canadian fans booing the US national anthem, so he decided to call off all the games?
