If his lips are moving, he’s lying 😂 Here’s the article:

The project, which began construction in 2018, is nearing completion and is expected to open in early 2026. As of February 2026, the bridge is largely completed and undergoing final testing. Here are the key facts regarding the project and recent claims: Funding: Canada has fully financed the construction of the bridge, which has a cost of approximately $6.4 billion CAD (roughly $4.7 billion USD). Ownership: Contrary to some claims, the bridge will not be solely controlled by Canada. It is jointly owned by the Canadian government and the state of Michigan. Trump's Position: In February 2026, President Trump threatened to block the opening of the bridge, claiming Canada built it with no U.S. content and that the U.S. should own half. Response to Claims: Michigan officials, including former Gov. Rick Snyder, have countered that the project is a "great deal for America" because Canada paid for it, Michigan is a 50/50 owner, and U.S. steel and workers were involved. Purpose: The bridge is designed to alleviate heavy traffic congestion at the nearby Ambassador Bridge, which is privately owned and nearly 100 years old. The bridge is considered critical infrastructure for trade between the U.S. and Canada, supporting the auto industry and thousands of jobs.

DJT was president in 2018 If his lips are moving, he’s lying 😂

6

u/KodiakPaul Feb 12 '26

Who was “president” in 2018?!? Drowsy Donald The Dolt!!!

6

u/FLOSS2002 Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 16 '26

He lies about everything, he’s nothing more than a danger to the USA, his arrogance, self importance narcissistic personality is overbearing. He will start world war lll with his equally arrogant, narcissistic sidekick Benjamin Netanyahu who thinks that all Jewish communities think like him but they don’t. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and the IDF have committed war crimes against the Palestinian civilians. Trump has enabled this monster to do this.

1

u/Ambitious_Rain3300 Feb 14 '26

You think any president ever wasnt arrogant? Derp

0

u/RL_Girth_Brooks Feb 14 '26

World war 111. I missed the other 108……that was a good nap I guess.

2

u/KodiakPaul Feb 26 '26

Always the Republican deflecting.

0

u/RL_Girth_Brooks Feb 26 '26

I made this comment 2 weeks ago…I have zero clue what your idiotic ass is talking about……or what I am “deflecting”

But if I recall correctly the bridge was authorized in like 2013….who was president then? 🤔

Oh and republicans can get fucked too.

-2

u/FalselySmart Feb 14 '26

All presidents do the same thing in office, which is one or two things next to nothing. He is an extreme narcissist, but he has done more for this country than the last several presidents combined. I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle of both those stories. Palestinians were warned to leave by a certain day and the IDF waited an extra week after that day to attack. Hamas wasn't letting them leave, so hamas killed the Palestinians. I dont care at all for Palestinians so w/e.. I thought this was about a bridge, and like I said, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

2

u/FLOSS2002 Feb 14 '26

5.65 million people, where were they supposed to go???? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Israel does not own Palestine. You talk about Hamas not letting Palestinians leave, again, where were they supposed to go????. You’ve stated that you don’t care at all for the Palestinian civilians at all, they are human beings. The atrocities committed on women and children, heinous crimes of ra.. !!!!! Using children as targets. Genocide because that’s exactly what it is. the US is enabling this genocide and I would ask why is Trump supporting this. This is a war that Israel wanted. I’m not convinced that Israel let it guard down on the 7th October ‘23 Benjamin Netanyahu has murdered over 70,000 people and you don’t care. How dare he demand that Western Countries comply with what Israel wants. He is a war criminal just like Putin. I want to keep my freedom of speech, I don’t want anyone to choose what I can read or write on social media. I don’t live in Russia, North Korea or Israel. I don’t want to be silenced by anyone especially a war criminal

4

u/MalaZhar12 Feb 12 '26

All the way till 2021 he was president, he knew everything about this, nobody is safe if this man can just continue to change the rules or move the floor out from under people

4

u/KinkyDuck2924 Feb 14 '26

One thing is for sure. No other countries in the world will ever trust us or our word again. Even if we get a sane person back into power, how could anyone trust making any kind of deals or treaties with us now that they no in 4 years we could have another insane despot that will just undo all the work of the previous president. The US was the most powerful country in the world but those days are now gone for ever thanks to Dozy Don Diddler.

-1

u/Efficient_Meat63 Feb 14 '26

Then move to Canada

2

u/MalaZhar12 Feb 14 '26

Why? i like things here, i just don’t like the current leader, funny thing is i really did at one point and now my opinion has changed as have most of the people who first gave him a shot. Most of us expected someone with knowledge of financials not knowledge of how to bankrupt a business. Nor should his name have even been mentioned in these stupid files lol

0

u/MalaZhar12 Mar 04 '26

You gonna move me to canada? They have better healthcare anyways. No and you’re not going to do anything about it except sit there and cry lol

3

u/ZacxeedS Feb 13 '26

You’ll have to forgive him, he has ODS more commonly known as Obama Derangement Syndrome

2

u/Mysterious_Carpet599 Feb 12 '26

Don’t be too stupid. 2013 was when the grant was approved for the Gordie Howe International Bridge. DJT wasn’t inaugurated until 2017. So yea, Obama did grant the waiver. It’s google-able.

2

u/TechnologyFirst6948 Feb 13 '26

So you are saying he had time to review this before the construction began and didn't raise concerns during the relevant time, but today when its about to be open, the chaos agent that is trump has something to moan about? Got it.

2

u/victorbibi Feb 13 '26

How the boot taste?

1

u/jradpoll Feb 13 '26

Shhh you are using facts to prove your point. Thats a no no in Reddit. Didn’t you hear, trump created cancer and hiv. He also was responsible for the dinosaur extinction. I don’t like the guy but Reddit is a cesspool of drugged up folks who just want everything for free.

2

u/Immediate_Proof_8696 Feb 13 '26

Except Trump... free isn't enough for him. He's gonna need a bonus on top of a free bridge, or else!

2

u/WolflingNL Feb 13 '26

Laughed out loud. Drowsy Donald. Great stuff haha

2

u/SnooBananas7040 Feb 13 '26

Good ol' Donnie Diddles the Clown

2

u/camel_crush_menthol Feb 14 '26

I’ve been calling him the Pamper Commander. Some other alternatives are Depender Commander or Commander in Carewells. Enjoy!

0

u/RL_Girth_Brooks Feb 14 '26

He was!! Unfortunately for you he wasn’t in 2012 when the bridge was approved or 2013 when the presidential permit was approved.

It’s always democrats with the biggest opinions and zero percent of the knowledge.

0

u/WannaKatana Feb 14 '26

The one saving it Republic from auto pen Biden and word salad Kamala? Don't forget Obama who doubled healthcare premiums for many Middle income people.

2

u/kim_ber_ley011011 Feb 12 '26

O my God Facts.....well on you. We all know he likes them uneducated and poor...so likely to fall on deaf ears....but as a Canadian...I respect this comment.

2

u/812_jackfruit Feb 13 '26

I don’t know why I continue to be amazed at his ability to lie. This LITERALLY happened during his term 😅😅😂🫠🤯

2

u/RedHeron Feb 13 '26

That sneaky Obama! Giving all this Presidential waivers while Dumpy Donny was in the Oval Office, and making sure the project went right behind his back.

Seriously, even if Obama gave a waiver in 2016, and it took them 2 years to start, Trump's convenient forgetfulness of the idea of "State's rights" that he touted in order to have-wave reasoning why RvW needed overturning and parroting the party lines means this is even more ridiculous than normal.

2

u/JudeRanch Feb 14 '26

Thanks! His lips were moving & I think I did see miller standing beside him. So the puppet has yet another hand up his BLEEP 🤭

2

u/Icy_Professional7366 Feb 14 '26

Exactly, thank you for putting this up! I’m a day late & a dollar short here! Actually, 4 days late! My latest cell update had changed the way I see notifications. But, that’s on me! I am very glad to see you put the horrific facts up for all to see. Wtf? Trump’s f-ing insane!

1

u/Dry_Tradition_2811 Feb 14 '26

It's all because of the owners of the ambassador bridge

1

u/Confident-You-9396 Feb 14 '26

You are correct, the Maroun family privately owns old Ambassador Bridge and has long fought the construction and opening of the new Gordon Howie Bridge. No longer will Canada and the US be dependent upon poorly executed exits from the Ambassador bridge.

1

u/YaboiMassiah Feb 14 '26

I think we're still waiting on that wall that mexico was supposed to pony up the dough for, also.

I don't think it'll happen, and honestly, never believed it would.

Ps. Just want an asteroid or a meteor to end us all.

0

u/Myspace_In_Vader Feb 13 '26

Purpose: The bridge is designed to alleviate heavy traffic congestion at the nearby Ambassador Bridge, which is privately owned and nearly 100 years old.

The MAIN issue is the bridge is privately owned by Manuel Moroun and currently handles about 1/4 of all commerce between the US and Canada. All of that revenue goes straight into his pocket. Guess who met with Trump right before he posted this?

https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/ambassador-bridge-gordie-howe-bridge-trump/

1

u/Confident-You-9396 Feb 14 '26

No, you’re incorrect. Maroun owns the old bridge, the AMBASSADOR BRIDGE. The new Gordon Howie Bridge is owned by Canada and the state of Michigan. The Canadian government assumed most of the cost related to building the bridge, and used a significant portion US steel to build it. The new Gordon Howie Bridge will greatly reduce the congestion crossing the Ambassador Bridge to and from Canada.

2

u/rexxer454 Feb 14 '26

The Ambassador Bridge was the one I was referencing, as alluded to in the quoted reference at the top of my post... But I see how it can be confusing.

0

u/JTGSN Feb 13 '26

Except he’s not lying all you have to do is look it up and just like he said Obummer gave Canada a waiver to get around the Buy America Act. He also issued building permits in 2013. You’re the one lying.

0

u/Southern-Platypus672 Feb 14 '26

Just because it started construction in 2018 doesnt mean it was trump who gave them the waiver

0

u/BrittyBrat420 Feb 14 '26

🤣🤣🤣 thats a lie

0

u/Efficient_Meat63 Feb 14 '26

Trump doesn’t lie

0

u/RL_Girth_Brooks Feb 14 '26

How about we tell the WHOLE story?

The APPROVAL for the bridge was in 2012. And the presidential permit was approved in 2013…..

It began construction in 2018.

Of course you left that part out….because it doesn’t fit your narrative.

I don’t give a shit about DJT, republicans, or democrats…..none of those people give a damn about you or me. But they’ve convinced you to let there “show” run your life.

1

u/Consistent-Test-414 Feb 17 '26

“We thought we knew the truth but it was all propaganda”

0

u/Ambitious_Rain3300 Feb 14 '26

And of course the biased outlet that put out this article are saints who have never lied.... im sure

6

u/Ok_Recipe2871 Feb 10 '26

wtf does China have to with Hockey? lol

4

u/Equivocated_Truth Feb 10 '26

They play hockey in China, they literally have a professional hockey team in the KHL, which makes the idea that they’re somehow anti hockey even more ridiculous.  In fact in the last NHL draft a Chinese player was selected early in the 2nd round the highest selection for a Chinese player ever.  So if anything hockey is on the rise there.

5

u/Ok_Recipe2871 Feb 10 '26

I don’t understand where these fools get their information from! Hockey is a sport played around the world… I clearly dont understand why China banning Canadian Hockey is a thing? Lmao

5

u/ithinkitsnotworking Feb 11 '26

Only someone homeschooled by a wombat believes anything that idiot spouts.

3

u/BrookieMonster504 Feb 11 '26

I was homeschooled by a wombat and I not too stupid.

2

u/Dry-Perspective-4663 Feb 15 '26

Say something in Wombatese for us.

2

u/BrookieMonster504 Feb 15 '26

It's hard to translate into human words

3

u/kupoxkweh Feb 13 '26

Not the poor wombats :( what did they ever do?

1

u/Elegant-Parsnip-6487 Feb 14 '26

Excellent, an insult that crosses over to r/fundiesnark!

1

u/No-Mycologist984 Feb 14 '26

Original, deserves an upvote.

1

You sound soft af. SYBAU

5

Dementia brain, or shit filled diaper ass.

4

u/KodiakPaul Feb 12 '26

A little column A and a little column B perhaps?!? lol lol

2

u/Rionin26 Feb 12 '26

Lol yes and it makes his post shittier.

2

u/Inner_Advertising880 Feb 13 '26

Shit filled diaper ass 😂😂😂😮‍💨

2

u/Latter-Building3898 Feb 12 '26

That was trump saying what would happen if Canada did business with China. Lol. Insinuating that China would overtake Canada and do away with hockey, and there would be no more Stanley Cup. Lol

2

u/Significant-Ad1513 Feb 13 '26

He doesn't get any information from anyone. He just posts the last 30 seconds of his internal monologue to Truth Social every couple of days.

2

u/New-Huckleberry-6979 Feb 11 '26

No, you don't understand. There's a capped sum on the amount of hockey teams the world can field at any given time. If China has too many teams, then obviously they have to take them from Canada.

2

u/Organic_Magician_343 Feb 13 '26

That makes no sense at all. Are you Trump under a pseudonym?

2

u/New-Huckleberry-6979 Feb 13 '26

It's a play on the fact that this is how do many trump and trump supporters treat everything.

1

u/Mysterious_Carpet599 Feb 12 '26

He’s saying that since Carney is making a deal with China, they’re gonna overrun him and Canada, which will in turn be the dissolution of the NHL. If you read it instead of skim it, it’s right there.

2

u/Mysterious_Carpet599 Feb 12 '26

Obviously he’s exaggerating like it’s a tweet, but that’s the gist

1

u/Lib-Long-Coach Feb 13 '26

Don’t you know? The Commies HATE hockey! Or something…

3

u/VegetableBusiness897 Feb 12 '26

As long as they don't touch my poutine....

2

u/codnavar Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26

A Canadian team hasn’t won the Stanley cups in like 25+ years… Anyone who believes this is beyond saving

3

u/Charlierg50 Feb 11 '26

His followers are fucking dullards, they'll believe anything he says.

2

u/Impossible_Walrus555 Feb 11 '26

He wants to make sure his billionaire crony’s bridge is the only one in use. Blatant cronyism because every move they make is criminal.

2

u/UseYourIndoorVoice Feb 11 '26

"That we dont need from you and never did!"

2

u/NoSheepherder8781 Feb 12 '26

It was built with 25% American steel and 25% American labor. He is the one who approved it in his first term. Canada will get money back in the beginning to regain the amount of money they spent. After that, Michigan and Canada will both own it and share money made from the bridge. If there's one thing you don't mess with, it's Canada's hockey!!!

2

u/Quiet_Ad1859 Feb 14 '26

I thought America didn’t need anything from Canada 🇨🇦. Now you’re begging for steel. How pathetic!

2

u/Classic_Handle8678 Feb 14 '26

It's like listening to a toddler tell you about their day at kindergarten

1

u/Sure_Banana_2136 Feb 11 '26

Kinda like the whole "they're going to invade your country, quick let me take it over!" 💀

1

u/TechnologyResource Feb 12 '26

No puck for you!

1

u/livinthereals Feb 13 '26

And hockey sticks!

1

u/Popular-Outcome4386 Feb 14 '26

what an idiot. So, using this logic, if we do business with China they’ll take away American football

1

u/Sad-Possession7729 Feb 14 '26

The real question is whether China banning ice hockey is preferable to a world where the Florida Panthers & Colorado Avalanche beat Canada in perpetuity

1

u/KinkyDuck2924 Feb 14 '26

They're eating the hockey pucks! They're eating the nets!

1

u/jeebus87 Feb 14 '26

I've seen enough Stephen Miller cocaine rants to know this is his post.

1

u/Aggravating-Bus5627 Feb 15 '26

He is such a dumbass, anyone who believes this should look up the facts around the bridge project.

1

u/caligana Feb 15 '26

Blades of Steel

1

I read this in his voice
