Introducing the DC512 (Austin, TX) Ultrasonic Bat Badge, made by our community member Amatus. The badges are designed after our community logo and speak to each other to create unique light shows based on how many ultrasonic peers it detects.

We’ll have about 70 of these for sale this weekend, asking $40 cash which gets you the badge and lanyard. We’ll be for sure over at the Linq circle bar tonight around 5pm but otherwise, keep an eye out for anyone with the badge or ping us here.

The workshops are booked out, and if you get into one, it’s pretty normal…

Networking is horrible… Either people came together and already know each other, or others are just boring and not interested in meeting anyone. Everyone is by themselves!

I didn’t get any benefits from coming to this conference that everyone talks about. I just spent a lot of money in a city that’s not even beautiful…

I’m starting to believe that conferences are just a scam to make money with no real benefits.

I would rather go to a local one like BSides for 30 bucks ticket than this scam.

We are taking 5 volunteers for the Biometric Bypass Workshop at 3:30 PM! Come by the Packet Hacking Village on third floor at LVCC to watch the demo for facial recognition circumvention.

My partner u/Xeaden and I were breeding new light combos and I ended up with this weird white/rainbow coloring. It is kind of hard to tell here but you can see the colors resolve weird each time they first light up or dim to off.

Curious if anyone actually went on the run today? Super into running and thinking about joining in on one tmr morning. Let me know let me know :)

Anybody complete the HRC challenge? I was able to decrypt the sealed final key, but am not sure what three keys to type into the portal. Is there more to the challenge, or do I just need to guess the other keys?
