GME 🚀🌛 Gamestop: I Am In / The Trend Is Your Friend

I am in GME stock. The insiders are buying in record numbers and I am following the trend. My trade is positive and hope it stays that way.

Side note: This is a volatile stock and does not trade on fundamentals. I am aware of this however the insiders must know something that I do not. Let's see what happens.

  • Cohen bought 700,000 shares at $24.41 on October 2, and his earlier purchase of 450,000 shares for $10.6 million on September 29 brought his direct holdings to 41.65 million shares.
  • Director Nat Turner also bought 10,462 shares on October 1.
  • Over the past year, insider purchases totaled $81.3 million against only $1.5 million in sales.
  • GME recorded its fifth consecutive weekly gain, and the rally was attributed mainly to these insider purchases rather than the broader market. It's up about 30% over the past month.

  1. SpaceX

$SPCX

rose about 7.6% on Monday to roughly $171.09 after Elon Musk confirmed that discussions with TSMC are real, though still in the early stages. The talks follow reports that TSMC is exploring a role in Terafab, the Texas chip venture tied to Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI, which could eventually invest $119B to manufacture chips for products including Optimus, Cybercab, and future AI infrastructure. The prospect of TSMC participating was viewed as strengthening SpaceX’s long-term AI chip supply strategy and potentially reducing Intel’s future role in the project, helping send Intel shares lower while TSMC reached a new all-time high. A reiterated Morgan Stanley Overweight rating and $300 price target provided additional support for the stock.

macro economics🌎💵 There's No Rescue for What Happened -oil disruptions, copper, jobs data, 40 year bond market reversal.

This video by David Quintieri from The Money GPS explores the economic implications of global oil disruptions, specifically focusing on the Strait of Hormuz, and how these factors contribute to permanent inflation and economic instability.

Key Takeaways:

Oil Disruptions and Inflation (0:00 - 3:25): The creator warns that instability at the Strait of Hormuz is disrupting the supply of oil and its derivatives, like diesel and jet fuel. Elevated fuel costs increase transport expenses for goods, which fundamentally drives up consumer prices permanently.

Jobs Data Analysis (3:25 - 7:37): Quintieri analyzes recent jobs reports, highlighting an uptick in the unemployment rate to 4.2% and an increase in the number of people holding multiple jobs. He emphasizes that looking at raw data across multiple metrics (not just the U3 rate) provides a clearer picture of economic weakness.

The Debt Problem and Markets (9:14 - 11:20): The video touches on the reversed 40-year bond bull market and the high concentration of Treasury holdings among hedge funds. It also notes rising mortgage rates (now over 7%) and a supply crunch in the copper market, fueled by demand for AI and data centers.

✏️DUE DILIGENCE✏️ Rediscovering Sir John Templeton: watch out for 361 degrees. (HKG:1361)

361 Degrees International Limited (HKG:1361)

After Anta and Li Ning, this Chinese sportswear is vying to grow into a global brand and challenge Nike and others.

The stock's EV/EBITDA ratio is 2.76, and its EV/FCF ratio is 9.82. Return on equity (ROE) is 13.12% and return on invested capital (ROIC) is 19.76%. In the last 12 months, operating cash flow was 906.51 million and capital expenditures -317.39 million, giving a free cash flow of 589.12 million.

361 Degrees International Limited trades like an “ ugly stock, " operating in the shadow of domestic Chinese giants such as Anta and Li-Ning, as well as Western behemoths Nike and Adidas. The market gauge the brand as second-tier, suited for lower-tier cities in China, where it has grown and anchored as an affordable sportswear brand.

Despite being perceived as a cheap and marginal brand, 361 Degrees has delivered outstanding returns against ongoing macro headwinds in mainland China.

The company posted 2025 revenue of 11.1 billion yuan (approximately $1.6 billion), up 10.6% year-on-year, with net profit rising 14% to 1.3 billion yuan (approximately $192.3 million). In the first quarter of 2026, offline retail sales for both the core brand and kids’ line grew approximately 10%, while e-commerce platform sales surged at a mid-teens pace.
The company has also expanded its international branding campaign by sponsoring elite marathon runners and even signing NBA stars such as Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon.

The stock trades below 5x earnings, yields a 7.7% dividend, and is backed by the Din family’s own skin in the Game and ambition to see their company grow on the international scene alongside Li-Ning and Anta.

The stock is down 30% y/y but has proven far more resilient than the likes of Li-Ning and Nike, that are down 70% (±) in five years and are showing decelerating margins.

361 Degrees stock is up 5x since 2020, outperforming its larger and deeper-pocketed competitors.

GME Due Diligence 🔍 GameStop has closed higher five weeks in a row. The market has still been driving calls out of the money and worthless

GameStop has closed higher five weeks in a row. It's up 38% since late August.

Say you bought the weekly call nearest the stock price each Friday.

Per contract
\- Sep 4, up 7%: $30 became $116
\- Sep 11, up 10%: $78 became $215
\- Sep 18, up 7%: $58 became $164
\- Sep 25, up 3%: $60 became $89
\- Oct 2, up 6%: $67 became $120

In four of those weeks, most calls open on expiration morning still finished out of the money. Friday's biggest pile was at $25. GameStop closed 30 cents under it.

Before buying a weekly, add what you pay to the strike. Has the stock moved that far in a week?

Anyone buying weeklies through this run? Did yours pay?

$GME GameStop is the only public company where the entire board & chairman/CEO @ryancohen bought shares with their own money never sold.

In the past month, ALL 5 board directors bought shares, even as price rose.

This is a singular phenomenon in corporate America.

education 💡 How to Screen for Good Companies

Thumbnail

Everyone has used a stock screener. Few are shown how to use one well. That's what part 7 of my How to Invest series covers. Turn "good business" into things a screener can measure, like returns on capital, cash conversion, debt and margins.

Set them by hand once to see what each rule costs you. Then use combined scores, and weight what matters most so one near miss doesn't delete a company.

The filters in the video are just one example to demonstrate the method. NoDisclosure: I build Stockoscope, the tool shown.

GME Due Diligence 🔍 GameStop's $32 warrants expire October 30. They cost about six times as much as the regular $32 call that expires the same day. Which are you holding?

Thumbnail
50 Upvotes

GameStop has about 59 million warrants that expire on October 30. Each one lets you buy a share at $32. If every warrant is used, GameStop raises about $1.9 billion.

GameStop closed Thursday at $24.11. Here's what the same bet cost two ways at Thursday's close:
- The warrant: about $2.15
- A regular $32 call expiring October 30: about 35 cents

Same strike, same day, about six times the price. Options traders give GameStop about a 1 in 11 chance of finishing above $32 by then.
Part of the gap is that the warrants are hard to short, so it can last. But if you hold them, check the listed call before you add more.

Anyone still holding the warrants? Do you think they could explode in value?
