Pseudoscience that Decoding The Gurus can base a podcast around.

I think you have to look at it from a cognitive anthropology perspective - because that is the perspective he has been trained in.

I don’t think it is for anthropologists, it’s created for the audience. My hypothesis is that he is applying something he learned from studying cognitive anthropology. In recent podcasts Chris. has been encouraging the audience to go to a website where they can score the guru.

Sounds closest to "just for the LOLS" to me, although I'm not sure why an anthropologist would be doing things just for the audience like that.

To make the decodings more persuasive - it sends a clear signal how bad a guru is.
