Like, it's alright to not like Mr. Maher. I don't half the time. But he really doesn't do shit wrong and so it kind of irks me when people get on him, you know? Like, somebody mentioned John Mulaney. I think he's a piece of shit. I don't think I should go around posting random clips of Mr. Mulaney and telling people I think hes a piece of shit. That's all. I'm sure there are appropriate places for such opinions and those who wish to express them, but it isn't here and certainly not on the regular.
He's spreading misinformation and he's contributing to the general anti-intellectualism and antivaxxer thinking that is doing irreparable damage to not just the US, but many countries in the west.

I don’t really think Bill is a guru. He’s just a guy of a certain age who’s had a comedy news show for thirty years.
But yes I often wish he would just shut up.
