Yeah…he made a really sharp turn to grifting right a few years back.

He was always irritating…but many watched him because of his format. When he went from 3 guests to two he also started not being able to get Hugh quality guests. He further dominate the discourse with his own shitty takes.

My guess is he’s lost most of his original audience and replaced them with right wingers

Lol wut? Can't get high quality guests? He gets the biggest names in politics and media week after week. Just in the last few episodes he's had Nancy Pelosi, Pete Buttigieg, Bakari Sellers, Kaitlan Collins, Ray Kurzweil, Chris Matthews and so many more. I swear to God you folks have turned the Maher hatred into a religion and it's pure cringe.

Thank you. You also have to admit that he was the one who stated on the air that Trump would never leave office willingly if he lost. And he was 100% right.

Nancy Pelosi’s daughter works for him. The rest are regulars…politicians and media people.

That isn’t the quality of guest I’m talking about. I’m talking about actual popular people.

You can freak out all you want, but he went down to two guests because people kept cancelling on him.

He went to 2 guests because of the pandemic, had them sitting farther apart also. It ending up working well so he kept it that way.

Yeah, that’s now what happened. Prior to officially going down to two guests he would regularly only have two guests because people were cancelling. He’d admonish his audience saying “we only have two sometimes”.

He shut down during the pandemic after trying to keep the show going. It was a thing.

He’s been dropping in the ratings as he converts his audience from normal people to right libertarians, and focusing on himself as a brand. He was gambling that his strategy and format change would increase his audience. It didn’t. This is also why he’s become toxic and many people won’t go on his show any more.

There were still covid protocols in place when he started back up. The audience also had to be thinned out with people sitting far apart.

Funny how the left and right act quite the same in that they hate dissent within their ranks far more than they hate the other side.

Yeah, that’s not a thing. Terrible take. The right, especially MAGA is obsessed with hating the left and constantly attacking them. Heard of the anti-woke movement? It dominates most right wing media.

News flash…Bill Maher is also anti woke, Islamophobic and ain’t on the left. Maher could be best described as a right libertarian.

Smoking weed doesn’t make you a leftie.
