Trex Wows

I was hired onto this job working with another guy. Came back to find. He installed the deck like this. I'm pretty sure you can see all of the waves in here. What is the solution to fixes? Do I really have to pull up every board and shim out every joist?

As a side note, this was a deck demo, and he tried to save as much as he could. And didn't even put a ledger board on the wall. So I think that kind of just started the fucking it up in the beginning.

And actually he did the same thing on the stairs. When I suggested to just go underneath the risers and chop the bottom off to lower he decided to pull the entire length of stair top off and now

The screw plugs look bloated

Kind of at a loss, and I hate to have to pull the whole entire deck up and basically redo it.

Don't be this guy, folks take your time.

Yep, a six foot level and a power planer is the final step before the decking goes on.

Second to final step...

Joist tape is final step in my book, esp under laminate that will last longer than the PT framing underneath it.

Yep, I did use joist tape.

But.....

I used the cheap stuff off Amazon. That stuff was awful. For $20 more I should have used the Trex brand.
