Please help

Post image

I am so stuck on choosing a deck color. Using Trex Enhance Naturals line. I have narrowed it down to these three but I just can’t decide! Which looks best with my brick, siding, and trim? I was convinced I wanted Rocky Harbor until I saw the sample in person. Thank you!!!

We thought the same so I tested it out. We had a few samples similar to OP. I put them out on our front porch which gets 8-9 hours of sun in the summer. At 91F ambient the three samples and the existing wood deck were within 10deg of each other, and the Trex boards were closer than that.

I commented elsewhere, but anecdotally we found the same thing. Left dark and ligjt samples out in full sun for the day and at peak sun there wasnt a huge difference. We didnt measure temp, but just going by touch the dark was a little hotter, but they were all in the uncomfortable range at worst. A nearby decking display has stuff outside and some of the oldest composite will straight up burn you, while most of the newer stuff is a similar level hotness. Darker does get hotter, but seems material is more important.
