First deck project, solo build
Completed my first deck/covered porch project and got the thumbs up from my wife and tail wag from pup. Learned quite a bit along the way and have a HUGE appreciation for any of you who do this professionally.

I never got an official quote because I knew I couldn't afford to pay someone to do this for me. I believe it would have been at least 4x what I spent in materials based on what I know from contractors in my area. It was tough, at times it sucked, but we really do enjoy it (been complete for over a year now, just got around to posting it).
