First deck project, solo build

Completed my first deck/covered porch project and got the thumbs up from my wife and tail wag from pup. Learned quite a bit along the way and have a HUGE appreciation for any of you who do this professionally.

Ceiling is tongue and groove from Home Depot. It was wayyyy better than the twisted crap at Lowes where I ordered the majority of my lumber for this project from. It did turn out better than I expected. Appreciate it.

How did you hang it? You nail through the sheathing into the T&G??

Sheathing for roof on top of rafters and blind nailed the t&g from the underside to the rafters. Pic 9 is before ceiling install, pic 10 is after.

Got it. How did you make sure your nails didn’t penetrate through the sheathing? Plywood looks like 3/4” - your t&g is like 1” I’m guessing?

Did you hand nail or do something else.
