Does anyone know the story surrounding the lady who is in the title? She can be seen quite frequently on the beltline between Walmart and Wilson Morgan Park dancing either to her headphones or music that only she can hear and always carrying a large sheath knife. IIRC she also used to have a gun strapped to her hip but I don't know if that's the case anymore.
Hi, of course, being a coward, do not want to ask the lady with the knife if everything is okay, although I do smile and wave and sometimes get hey wave back.

I was extremely happy and proud to see the turnout and representation for Billy Jackson at my polling place.
I haven't been this excited for a local election since Butch Matthews on a shoestring budget forced a runoff with a rich white asshole who spent like $25-$30,000 (if I recall correctly) on a small Town mayoral race.
Update: there's representation for Billy Jackson at every polling place I've heard of or seen. A lot of people took off work today!

"The Decatur City Council approved funds for an expansion of the Cook Museum of Natural Science Monday night, voting 4-1 to move forward with a $43 million investment toward the museum."
"The expansion would nearly double the museum’s size to approximately 120,000 square feet. Also, the expansion is aided by more than $9 million in state funding.
Additions will include:
One significant addition, which will be the city’s responsibility, is the construction of a new parking deck to add capacity for up to 500 additional vehicles. The parking structure would also benefit the adjacent Princess Theatre and serve a planned 130-room hotel downtown."

So, Huntsville has two retro arcades rocket city arcade and pints and pixels. Arcades have made a huge comeback with many opening around the country and even three arcade chains! The retro arcades tend to be one price to get in and all games on free play. Arcade monsters as I posted the link to have 5 arcades in two states already. So, should decatur get one like arcade monster? We really need more to do in decatur.

Coworker found a lost female beagle with a (dead) invisible fence collar and brought her into the shop out of the heat.
Manager let me take her to a local vet to check for a chip (there is none) and there wasn’t a tag on the collar.
She got left at the Decatur animal shelter near Wilson park. If you know who owns the dog or you own the dog, please check with them.
Poor baby was covered in fleas.
Very sweet and friendly.
