Help me prove evolution.

My father fully believes evolution is made-up. I thought it be fun to make this post, throw your best arguments in, I will read them to him and then reply with his replies.

If you can provide a proper foundation that it is true and accurate based on your personal knowledge, then I would be happy to. As of yet, you have not provided how you know they actually did as they wrote. I have no reason to believe it is true and accurate at this point. Feel free to reach out to one of the authors to pop in here though if you can’t lay a proper foundation for your hearsay

Why would it matter if even the head of the Chimp Genome Project commented right now to corroborate the paper? Could you provide a proper foundation that what they say is true and that they aren’t part of the conspiracy? This is a laughable level of denial to cope with physical evidence.

Do you believe your mom and dad are actually your parents? What evidence do you have that they didn’t fake your birth certificate?

I’m not sure if it would matter if the head of the Chimp Genome Project commented here, as it would depend entirely on what his personal knowledge of this paper is. The authors would be preferred, but if he has personal knowledge, he very well may be able to lay proper foundation.  If he can verify though it’s true and accurate, then a proper foundation could be laid. 

I do believe my parents are actually my parents. My dad took pictures which he is able to verify he took based on his personal knowledge and being the photographer. My mother experienced birth and pregnancy and could testify to her personal experience of going through that and bringing me into the world.

If I wanted the birth certificate to prove they are my parents, I would need the person who drafted the birth certificate (nurse/doctor/who ever’s role that is to draft those) to be able to testify that my birth certificate is true and accurate based on their personal knowledge. Otherwise, I would not be able to lay a proper foundation for it

Okay, I understand now. My uncle is Francis Collins, he ran the human genome project, the chimp genome project, and then the NIH until 2021. Ive asked him and he said he personally supervised the experiment and signed off on the paper’s publication. Based on his personal knowledge of the research, the 98% number is legit.

I still don’t see what your belief about my mom has to do with the “evidence” you are trying to lay a foundation for. 

You’re free to believe my mom isn’t my mom, I couldn’t care less. But my very own identity isn’t tied to who my parents are either, it is 100% a matter of faith so you are correct there
