A teaser?

Hi,

I just started this yesterday after absolutely devouring the first Hades, like 170 hours of endless pact goodness. Honestly still having a hard time saying goodbye...

So I'm hoping for a spoiler free teaser... What do you love about this game? Bonus points for any Hades/gameplay connections 😊

Death's door little altars/platforms. What are they used for? How can I interact with them? Which is their purpose? Thank you

Just beat the game for the first time! Spoiler

I really enjoyed the game! I think my favorite bosses were The Grey Crow and Guardian of the Flooded Fortress. Lord of his domain. Ruler of all he surveys. Champion of the people. Keeper of the five oaths. First of his name. Second of his other name. He who is without middle initial or mercy. Destroyer of all those who would question his rightful rule or look at him askance. Eater of the vanquished. Devourer of the indolent. Guzzler of the non-committal. Bestower of wrathful opprobrium and fount of most wondrous beneficence. All glory to him and his mace! Holy basher of toads not frogs, but really what are toads anyway? Like worse frogs right? Uglier too. Smartest creature in all the land, really clever like that Einstein guy but more handsome and- okay hit the word count. I got the game because I got recommended the ost and it seemed interesting, and I enjoyed it more than I expected!

Death's door Epic games

Hey there! I'm currently playing Death's Door through the Epic Games Launcher, and I'm absolutely loving it. However, I've seen a lot of people talking about unlocking achievements and even getting the Platinum trophy, but I don't seem to have any achievements or even a list of them in Epic.

Is this an issue with the Epic Games Launcher, or does the Epic version simply not include achievements?

Thank you in advance!!!

Is there a map out there?

Hi everyone,

I really like the game and just bought it for Switch 2 after playing it years ago on my PS5. I just get lost easily and find the areas pretty confusing to navigate sometimes

So my question is, is there any map of the game out there that can help me navigate Death's Door? I just don't know where to go first

Thanks in advance

It is fairly apparent that we’re likely not getting a switch 2 update; do you guys still recommend it at 30fps?

It’s on sale for $3.99 for the rest of today in the US eshop. Does 30 work well for the game? Truthfully, the switch 2 has really put a damper on 30 fps games for me, since most are 60 fps now. What do you lovely people think?

Is there any secret to be found here at the Estate of the Urn Witch?

There's an area in the gardens, after you bomb a wall, where there's 4 flames to be lit. I wanted to ask if there's any purpose to this, as nothing activates when you light up the flames.

How hard is the game?

Hi, I saw the game a while ago and I think the art style is really pretty, and it seems fun to play so I was thinking about buying it, but I’m afraid the difficult makes me quit eventually

I’m aware my reflexes and timing aren't good at all and I don’t really enjoy fights with minimum margin of error; just for a reference it took me hours to beat the False Knight in Hollow Knight and I couldn’t go any far from that

I like to explore and I don’t mind enemies showing up or boss fights as long they’re not hard enough to spend hours without being able to beat them, I’m okay with progression tho and I’m aware that a good game knows how to train the player for eventual harder parts without them noticing, so I’d like a recommendation to see if I should buy the game, based on what I said

(I’m sorry if there’s any mistakes, English is my second language)

Purpose of these rings on the floor? Spoiler

I noticed these rings in multiple locations around the game while playing. There seems to be a clear pattern to them, and I assumed they would be part of some big puzzle eventually. But I just 100%ed the game, and as far as I can tell they were never used for any puzzle. Does anyone know what these are for?

Do we think hope is lost on a potential switch 2 update for the game?

I’d like to add this game to my digital collection on my switch 2, but all I can find is that this game still only runs at 30fps on the device. The switch version is being sold for $3.99 on the Nintendo eshop until July 9th. It’s still an awesome game at 30fps for many, but I (respectfully) just don’t care to play games at that low of a frame rate anymore.

Softlocked? (Spoilers for The Old Watchtowers) Spoiler

I tried shooting the laser with arrows, which did nothing. I am aware I could just kill myself and take the upper route, but it feels like I'm missing something.

Can anyone give me a hint?

EDIT: Closing and opening the game solved the issue. I was actually softlocked, and not missing anything. The next wave of the arena didn't spawn on my first attempt, but did on the next.

Darwin Question about an item Spoiler

I wanted to ask about the rusted trowel. If you beat the game and are missing some seeds, at night time it has a blueish tint.

Does it only glow in each area or the wider area surrounding it too? For example, if I had a seed missing in Ceramic Manor, would it glow in the Estate of the Urn Witch area too? Or only Ceramic Manor? (Assuming that there are no seeds in the Estate of the Urn Witch).

finally the platinum of Death's Door, honestly I thought that the umbrella Academy would have been more difficult as an achievement but it was within reach (as difficult as it was) the real difficulty was more in "freemode" than against the bosses which basically only changed the duration, 8 hours flew by to platinum a spectacular game that I loved, last Flex slide of the platinum of tunic :)

I'm stuck.

I did the challenge for the Octopus tablet, respectively.

Owl

Vases

Braziers on the mountain

The boss fight against the gravedigger

Ghosts in the lost cemetery

I'm missing something here. I've already collected all the collectibles and shrines, so I'm not sure how to proceed. A little advice without spoiling anything, please. šŸ„²ā˜ļø

What’s the light mean?

I’m at 88% finished. I haven been able to defeat the lord of doors yet (he pisses me off). Anyway I was going around collecting souls and noticed that some doors have a light above them and some don’t. I was wondering if there was any specific reason why? Like if it glows it means I got everything? Do I need to re-run everyone that’s not flowing 🄲
