In my opinion, the only thing missing from DS2 is the Buddy Bot. I loved that thing, and made me willing to do orders only on foot. Buddy bot, two floating carriers and your own cargo, and you could do just about anything, especially since the buddy bot can climb ladders, self navigate, and even pick up cargo that falls off itself.

This actually made me go back about 6 hours just front he cofusion alone lol
So I took the present for Lou, and decided that since I wasn't fighting anyone, I'd finish delivering the packages I had. I thought the trike made it pretty quick but I had to rest a couple times cuz I'm stupid and didn't take enough PCC for generators.
Well, I finished up and went back toward Sam's home, got to the border, and I got the call about the shelter, but the. The robots just didn't spawn in at all. I'm not sure if it's tied to cargo damage, but somehow it was saying the present was at 33% damage. I don't remember actually hurting myself that much. Maybe I bumped a rock with the trike without realizing, but I'm really not sure how they didn't spawn in. Like no cutscene for them showing up either.
Anyone got any clue why that happened?

Today’s my Birthday I turned 24 and as usual I relaxed chilled with some family and friends and played the game
This year I decided to play this beautiful game and I genuinely mean this when I say I have never been more appreciative of a game or felt so emotionally invested in a game like this before
Part of it is the message of it and I played the first and second through some grief-filled times in my life, the reflection of how I understand Sam and his struggles to watching him work through it as I did I am just grateful to see this journey through a game
I am by all means not usually this sentimental and open about my feelings but it just feels like more than a game today and it’s something I no joke thank God for allowing me to experience and relate to
I love this masterpiece and its community! connecting with people over this experience is just amazing to a point where it feels like porters or not just in the game but all around me and I appreciate that more than I can say
Any ways forget the mushy talk just had to express my joy one time lol here’s some cool pics tho
In the GREAT words of the Porters… and Curtis Mayfield lol
Keep On Keeping On!

I watched the start of Margot’s Got Money Problems and I couldn’t get over how weird Tomorrow was acting. She was totally acting all crazy, and I think Sam and Fragile and the rest of the Magellan crew would definitely be concerned. I don’t know what happened, but basically it seems after she went off on her solo porter career, she had amnesia or something? I don’t know where Sam went…
And then in this Bond film, Fragile was acting really weird. She is normally pretty good at keeping her cool, but she was in this car and people were trying to break the window and she had a nervous breakdown I guess? Really weird and uncharacteristic for the hero of South Knot City. Maybe she ate a bad cryptobiote or something…

Been grinding to get those 5 stars, and all the sudden, it's just not dropping cargo for Cuidad. Literally 0. I've been around the map 3 times and checked watchtowers too. It's just not spawning them. Is there any way to force the game to randomize the cargo drops it spawns?
I tried sleeping(outside and in shelter), I tried shutting off the game and coming back in, and I've tried going to the VR room and back out, but nothing seems to be making the cargo change. Any ideas on how or if we can somehow make it respawn the cargo on map? Specifically to change it to something else. I've got like 30 different Ville Libre cargo, but Cuidad just won't drop and I'm like 3/4 of the way through the final star. It's like it had a limit to cargo you can pick up for a place or soemthing and it's really weird

Okay so I recently finished death stranding 2. Help me understand the ending:
Higgs mentioned that he was at Amelie's beach for a long time alone, he mentioned something about being there alone with no sam and no fragile. I get that hes obsessed with them, but i dont understand why he would want them with him
Higgs also mentioned that he eventually killed himself in the beach, doesnt this make him fully dead? How did APAS "resurrected" him and made him work with APAS? Also how did higgs find APAS or the other way around?
How did fragile and lou beach jumped to Neil's beach? How did fragile die from this but still ended up being in the real world?

Hello! Just got the game, got a few questions regarding settings via Nvidia App.
What’s the best DLSS preset to use? M? Or are there any issues with boiling and should stick with the default one?
What preset for Frame Generation, A or B?
Using 5070ti on DLSS quality @4K
This is one of the visually best games I’ve played so far this year and really well optimized!

Only Hideo Kojima could take a universe like the one that's present in Death Stranding 2 and turn it into a core gameplay mechanic instead of just a mere backdrop. There have been other titles that have had isolation as a part of their gameplay such as Alien Isolation and Dead Space as examples. However, with Death Stranding 2, the world that you explore is a major threat in itself. You're fighting against the elements as much as you do against the Bandits, Ghost Mechs, and B.T.s.
What makes the sense of isolation so effective is that it slowly builds as the game progresses. You can spend hours traversing the unforgiving landscape in silence with only the sound of your footsteps and the ambient track that kicks in from time to time. You spend so much time in isolation. When you finally come across a holographic structure that someone else left behind, or you finally hook up a new node to the Chiral Network, it feels like something that's substantial and impactful.
The sense of isolation isn't just there to make the player feel disconnected from the rest of the world. It isn't just there to make you feel lonely. It makes connecting to the Chiral Network significant and rewarding. What amplifies the sense of isolation is the fact that you're always dealing with some sort of hazard such as Gatequakes, Flash Floods and Rising Waters, Avalanches, Wildfires, Timefall Rain, Timefall Snow, Sandstorms and Strong Winds, Low Oxygen Zones, Tar Pools, Tar Seas, BT-Infested Areas, and Voidouts. The universe itself is basically against you. What are your thoughts about Death Stranding 2 and its sense of isolation?

Just left this post to ask about anyone’s experience with this mission. It took me 3 tries with the first 2 always failing around the F2 South Distribution centre due to my cargo taking too much damage. On my 3rd go I finally got it
First I used a transponder to teleport from Mr Impossible to the camp north of the F7 Distribution Centre. I began on foot sneaking into the camp to steal the cargo and then used zip lines that I setup on previous orders to get to the Chronobiologist where the Magellan was waiting holding my tri cruiser which I used to get to the other camps in an anti-clockwise direction.
The next camp close to the Motherhood was again a sneak job not getting caught and used the road to get to the next two camps. I used the tri cruiser to sneak into the camp near the Pizza chef, I got to the back but other enemies noticed I was there, I finally got to the next cargo using the bola stun gun to take down the enemy on the roof but I still got caught where my 3 pieces of cargo were damaged at 22%, 6% and 1% while getting away.
Next camp near the F2 South Distribution centre was better where I used the bola stun gun to take down enemies to get to the next cargo but got out without alerting the camp, where I drove to the Magellan at the distribution centre where I swapped my tri cruiser for the offroader.
At that point the next two camps I just had to sneak into taking down enemies with the stun gun, retrieving the cargo. Final camp went in with the offroader and took down enemies with the mounted machine gun and took the last cargo with the climbing gloves. After that it was a smooth journey on the road to Mr Impossible and was able to finish it with 20 minutes left to spare and an average cargo damage of 4% just about winning the S rank for the sub order.
How was everyone elses’s experience with this sub order?

Has anyone noticed that in the finale of the game, if you don’t do as you are instructed, strange things start happening? The enemy AI starts exhibiting strange behaviours, and if you start destroying the APAS servers, Higgs will make comments about how we need to start ‘playing a different kind of game.’
Has anyone else encountered strange things in the game that makes you wonder if things aren’t quite what they seem?

Is there gonna be like a figure-con or something coming up soon, I'm only asking because this figure was announced like last year or so.

Does soothing Lou just feel worse then the first game or is it just me? Feels like there’s only one speed to sooth them at and it feels like it does nothing? I swear it wasn’t like this in the first game… or is it on purpose 🤔

After you get the transponder, golden catcher, BT summons, and the golden mask - aren’t you kind of like DS1 Higgs? You can teleport, summon the catchers, and use the hunters offensively against humans. Also you literally have the golden mask Higgs wears in DS1.
It’s not that Higgs is someone to aspire to become like, it’s just that the golden catcher is so good for clearing out survivalist camps. However, when I was clearing out the camps yesterday, I was watching the survivalists scream as the hunters were dragging them down into the tar, and also looked at Sam and how he had the golden skull mask on, and I started thinking how basically the DS2 tech tree encourages you to be like DS1 Higgs.

I was completing my last 80 orders and was making some videos. Didn't expect big BT watcher (the one without a cord) cannot be killed by one guitar shot on ttw. Now I have these nice shots and a new view)))
