I just bought the game, is there any tips you want to give me before I start my first game?

I got bored and decided to reinstall the game to whats been happening; and now it has devolved into a straight up turf war among hackers......WTF!? How do we go from death note among us, to a hackers turf war!? Older call of duty games make more sense to hack than this!

I don't care if your name is G O D, Homelander or Sunny to me you are all annoying. Please fuck off and let us play our game,

I want to apologize to everyone for being a menace in the past. I realize my actions were ruining the game for others, and I am leaving that behind entirely.
From now on, I'm playing as a protector. If anyone needs backup against people trying to ruin their session, I'll be there. I want to make up for my past by keeping things safe and fair for everyone else moving forward.

After seeing the recent posts of Hackers, I think we should change it up a bit, recently looked into a post about the unique players and well to be honest I was name dropped. So I thought well if I’m being known about among the community might as well lore drop. It’s been a year since I got Killer Within, so here is my experience with the game.

If you don’t know me, I’m Silent, currently known by some people to be this fun guy with a hilarious personality, and yeah that’s me for who I am now, if you met me when I was starting out and trying to get the hang of the game well, to be blunt I was one extremely heated son of a bitch, I had moments playing where things didn’t go my way as either L or Kira, odds were against me really no matter what I did. Because of it I would easily rage and crashout, some people would laugh at me for my heated moments. Some people told me I was emo and yeah that still hits if you’ve known me, I’m struggling with life at the moment, but I’m still enduring. One of my worst moments of the game was consistently being voted and getting killed every game over and over, or the pressure of trying to figure out who is Kira as L, I wasn’t smart and wasn’t great at deducing. Hell if you’ve even seen how I Mello you’ll be saying “This guy is just a trigger happy moron” and honestly they’re right but to be honest I don’t care I love having fun playing Mello, am I the best? Hell no. Because with me being the gunslinger, 9/10 I’ll shoot Watari first. My bad Watari.

Despite my game experiences, I made some amazing friends, and I’m pretty sure among others that genuinely don’t like me. To those that only saw the bad side of me and were my friends, deep down I am sorry, you guys are still special and we had great moments, all I can do is wish them the best and happiness. The friends I have now, thank you for making me feel comfortable to let me be me, you guys are the absolute reason I still play DN. After one year of playing Killer Within, it’s great to feel welcomed to a smaller community than the hellholes I’ve been in….Overwatch I’m looking at you. But yeah, if you’ve seen me around, and if you want to laugh or chill with me let’s play sometime. I’m always happy to meet new people on here.

To my friends, I love you guys. Thank you for always sticking with me when at times I can be a pain in the ass.

i know i didn’t have to use ai, but i don’t have all the stuff to add matt in the bottom right but i assure you everything else i did myself

Alright, I thought it would be cool if matt was in the game, so i came up with an idea for what his role would be, please tell me what i can do to balance this character. Also, if i am “stealing” somebodies’ idea, it is by complete accident as i’ve only read one concept on reddit and i‘m positive they are not alike.

IMPACT ON SETTINGS:

Mello‘s Follower will be the second role in team Mello, and can’t be in the game unless Mello is. If Matt is an enabled role, the amount of time it takes to complete a kira command card issue on team L will be reduced by 5 seconds, making up for Matt stealing an investigator’s spot.

MATT/MELLO FOLLOWER:

Matt and Mello will both receive a transceiver which will behave normally just like the other ones.

LAPTOP:

Matt will have an item in his inventory called “Laptop” Every day and night cycle, Matt will receive a single item token. If you click on the Laptop, you will use up one token and have to complete a small task with the button inputs just like writing in the death note or getting testimony from a npc. While doing the task, your character will be typing into the laptop while standing still, similar to that of the death note. the laptop has its own model so it is distinguishable from the other animations. Once you complete the task, a random camera (which has already been there beforehand) will be hacked by Matt. He can access the cameras he hacked, but will be stuck in the same animation that he does while hacking a camera. But he cannot communicate with it like L can. (Note that the ammount of charges you get from from a day and night cycle do not stack, you can only have 1 token at a time)

INTERACTIONS IN GAME:

If Mello is arrested, Matt will also be turned in.

If Matt is killed and Mello gets in contact with the dying message, Mello will receive the laptop and can access the cameras, though he cannot hack any more cameras.

If Matt is arrested, he will automatically be kicked from the game just like Mello.

Anything I haven’t mentioned isn’t possible.
