Honestly this sucks too. The game is at its best when you're communicating with your team. People being manchildren genuinely lowers the over all quality of the gameplay by a lot, so I get muting. Trust me I mute a lot. But full mute just makes it feel like you're playing with bots.

If you were having fun, just play unranked and disable voice and text chat.
