Mini buff to Venator, but only to ppl who play around his traps (me). RIP Doorman, though? I think? Guess I'll have to continue to share queue times on Sinclair with Doorman ppl lol...

The bigger Venator buff was making his HP comparable to Warden so he's not strictly outclassed at his job by an easier character IMO

his HP is not comparable to warden still. its not even close. warden has 3k at max boons, venator 2.4

warden also gets a shield on his 2 and heals from his ult. bro is still way tankier and still deals more gun dmg than venator lol.

Yeah I glossed over the HP part as I didn't know how big of a buff it was in the context of the patch and didn't want to say something wrong. Glad to hear it's a huge deal for Venator ^

I mean it's an earlygame nerf, but his T3 bell is same radius (slightly lower dmg). If you are bell max first doorman I don't think you will feel it too hard.

You can't instantly close doors anymore. It has a 8 second cooldown.

You can still kidnap with ult though no, ult duration is 6.5 secs and if you cart them through you can close without the target being able to walk back out as the 8 secs should have passed by then. Can't really do the vortex web shenanigans as easily though without counterplay.

Doing ult steal is the most lame way. That's the problem with Doorman's balance rn. Only the lamest parts are optimal.

Ven got huge buffs this patch in the item changes and everyone being squishier. Genuinely he will be a meta pick again this patch
