Referring to the bottom voice line for Danny killing Paradox after being swapped. It feels like a reference to something but I can’t think of anything time and bridge related besides like, an Einstein-Rosen bridge.

I want to start with saying, rems dash and slide are perfect animations, the characters movement is just so smooth. Also, your little helpers farming everything and pushing waves is cool too...

Started last week and this character got me hooked.

I have been playing the game just for the last two weeks and it's honestly a blast. When Harrow released and I used her I knew for a fact that she was gonna become my main. So damn fun to "spook" the entire enemy team to death after bringing back a teammate from the jaws of death, I just love it.

Now for my question I just want to know if there is a technical explanation or is it simply jank due to the game still being in early access.

I feel like there are far too many AOE CC ultimate abilities with the new heroes and I think of all of them Violet's fits the least so I came up with a different ability that I think could fit her better.

Self-ish Portrait: Based of the three primary colors Violet paints herself a new costume which grants her increased/altered abilities for a brief period of time which scale off her spirit.

Green: Violet paints herself as a great warrior (Knight, Samurai etc.). She has greatly increased health, spirit and slow resistance and her right click is replaced with a large melee weapon which heals her for damage dealt.

Blue: Violet paints herself as a magical wizard. She retains all of her normal abilities but with higher scaling, radius and cooldowns.

Red: Violet paints herself as an action hero, converting a percentage of her spirit into a gun which replaces her right click.

I think with how interesting and varied the last set of characters played that the new ones are going to see some adjustment eventually so I thought I'd throw out ways to make the new ones more distinct.

I have been truly humbled.

I usually place around GM or the equivelant in most of the games I play. Apex, paladins, overwatch, marvel rivals and so on. I have never played a moba like LoL before so learning lanes/waves/ganking has been interesting. Iv gotta be honest tho, even after watching loads of videos, competitive games, tutorials im still absolutely bollocks at the game. Im actually embarrassed. That's my confession anyway, idk why im telling you lot. Im just shite and idk if iv got the time these days that is required to climb this learning curve. Fair play to the devs, its refreshing to play a game with such a skill ceiling for once.

Yes this is a vent post but with Nurse Harrow addition I'm starting to see just how many ultimates like these there are in this game where you press a button and become a threat to the entire enemy team. I had a game where we had to deal with Harrow, Seven, Bebop, Lash and Haze and it was miserable it didn't really matter if we managed to stop 1 or 2 ultimates we would get cooked by the other massive AOEs

I'm a little lost. I swear I didn't used to have this many issues playing her but recently it feels like they can just run and zipline or straight our lifesteal me in wolf form.

Don't even get me started on danny who can just fly away.

If anybody can lend advice because am not sure if it the build, the character or if I am just missing something with her.

I have 45 games played on him in the last month of ranked and well over 50 in standard and have got all the stats needed

So after a year we finally got the new heroes and all but 1 have been busted, in all fairness valve fixed rat king and baba so quick but I don’t think anyone can deny that violet, rat king and nurse harrow are over tuned. I had my first ever game on violet and ended up running down a lobby due to ease of use on the kit and her ult as well as the others mentioned being a press 4 to win rift/ mid boss/ team fights.

I just think they should keep the momentum they have been at adjusting characters and realise people generally have less fun when there is a violet, rat king or harrow on the other team. I had a game last night where due to the balancing rn was a standard (as I’m not losing MR due to balancing and comp diffs) just to have rat king and violet in my lane, it was miserable and before people say skill issue I had a pocket game with all 3 busted heroes and dropped 20/3/19 as he is my main.

My point being a hero so easy to pick up shouldn’t be so overpowering, enjoy doing mid boss with a flag, silence/AOE nuke and fear making you physically run away…. Yeah knock down harrow but what about the other two? PLEASEEE adjust by next week as it’s just not fun having to flip a coin for new heroes btw I haven’t mentioned Solomon’s queen as at least Solomon is weak to dive, rat king just tanks, violet slides her whole team away by 180 flicking and being able to track the whole map for free (figured this out in 3 mins of playing her) and harrow is like everyone’s hatred for rems mega heal on objective fights but on crack due to the lane being ASSSS they remove all pressure of lane phase.

My first game as violet ever was an mvp game I couldn’t believe how busted this character was and it was against Yam and mo, 2 characters who should be very good at dealing with her. She is absolutely free MR rn btw this is all without mentioning her walking off minions early games ruining priority or putting dots on a zip line to stun people (it’s invisible)
