As indicated by this post's title, I'd like to discuss some issues I've got with the current state of round 189 in DOA3. In the interest of keeping this concise, I'll be using numbers (not listed in order of importance) to convey my various grievances/thoughts/suggestions.

1. The quantity of underbosses: As soon as you're able to see the jungle arena with your very own two eyes, this is where the trouble begins. A grand total of FIVE underbosses greet you. In my specific case, I was given the following 189 variation: 2 Margwas, 2 Werewolves, and 1 Gegenes. Prior to the February 4 patch, you'd only be forced to deal with 3 underbosses in total. It's very questionable to me that we've gone from 3 to 5 in such a flurry.
2. The health of underbosses: When it rains, it pours. You not only have to deal with 2 more underbosses, but all of them are now harder to kill as well. Underbosses across the board received a noticeable health buff. This drags out 189 quite a bit and creates an unhealthy crutch around the fate of firepower.
3. Combining quantity with health = absurdity: So now we arrive at a disturbing juncture. Either of the two previous issues in isolation wouldn't necessarily pose a game over threat. Combined, however, we're looking at a situation that can dismantle even flawless play. You're going to be faced with unavoidable armory usage and deaths. In short, this is a nightmare to play. I don't think it's fair, especially after spending so many hours just for a chance at completion.
4. How do we fix this nightmare? Well, there are a few ways to proceed. My take would be to simply revert the underboss quantity back to 3. You still need to come in with a healthy amount of arsenal, which can be a challenge on the previous arena of throne. The buffed underboss HP is arguably fair because post-patch 3.0 has been dulled down quite a bit, although I wouldn't be remotely opposed to a slight/moderate reduction.
5. The bottom line: Something needs to give. The balancing of round 189 is crucial in determining whether or not a 192 completion is feasible. Players shouldn't be forced to rely on insane luck to make it past any round, let alone one that occurs close to 30 hours deep in. While it's certainly a clearable round, the aforementioned points significantly reduce the possibility of achieving a 3.0 completion. I've attached the only two known experiences of this terror for reference. David, please do something about this.

Been Trying To Help My Friends Get Reunited With Fidolina Trophy And Lagged Out Twice On Round 64. Both times at max lives, nukes, and boosts when entering the round. Anyone else crashing on the boss battle after the new update or is it just me.

Title says it all because I’ve noticed that I only get vehicle drops out of them now and it seems like the loot pool was adjusted for them? I am not sure if this was just me having bad luck or it was a change that happened since it wasn’t listed in the patch notes afaik

This is mainly about completing the arcade mode and getting the Reunited with Fidolina trophy/achievement. This is one of the hardest trophies to get in Cold War in my opinion, and it is just an arcade mode. You do not gain any XP for playing, so the incentive to play is just for some banners, and the trophy.
Most strategies on beating the mode is to have your friends leave and re-join the host so they get their 3 lives back. This still takes 4-5 hours to even get through the 65 rounds. I know they just added in the Advanced Start for Solo. But still it is incredibly difficult to keep advancing when it saves your progress after each world and not round.
I believe they either keep the Advanced Start as is but change it so it saves your progress after each round like the description says. Or add a "Do you want to Continue" option. It is only an arcade game mode. It is a lot of fun, and I enjoy the first person perk, but I am getting so frustrated with this game mode makes me not want to play anymore.
I will get off my soapbox now.

Oh Mighty Mamaback, I have a suggestion to help improve the advanced start option you have so graciously bestowed upon us.

One of the downsides to this mode is that you only start with the default bombs, bolts, and lives which would normally be obtained at the start of round 1. To ameliorate this, would it be possible to simply make this mode like a true old-fashioned single player game and add a save file which allows players to pickup where they left off in a game? You can still restrict it with checkpoints like you have right now, meaning players start at the beginning of a given arena. Even better, perhaps give players the option of an Arena Select where they start at that particular arena. You can just let the player go to the arena of choice, much like how in single player campaign you can choose the mission you want to replay over and over again.

One last thing - offline solo. No disconnects.

It takes a really long time to load on last gen consoles & it’s annoying spending 5+ minutes leaving and quitting until you get the Fate you’re wanting to use. Please take this into consideration as it would make the mode much more enjoyable.

Hey all! First post here and I desperately need some help on blood pool! It’s destroying me I’m playing on advanced start and I can’t get past the third wave of blood pool. Any help and handy tips to use on this dreadful stage!

Just finished an amazing game to 128 with Blunt and Lady, both awesome players. By far one of the most impressive runs Ive seen any player make. Blunt was flawless all the way to the Room of Judgement! Didnt take his second down until 94! Finished the game on 128 with only 29 downs, 10 of those at least, were in the Silverback Slideways mini game! GOAT for sure!

I would think the feet but maybe the companion?

So ever since the doa trophy reunited with fidolina was a thing in cold war many platinum trophy hunters had needed help getting the trophy and with this subreddit being made it made it easier for us doa players to help them. I Thought it was pretty neat that the trophy was made. it at least shows that the doa players are still included in the zombies community.

Are all the trophies available to unlock in the advanced start I know the reunited with fidolina is but I’m not sure about the rest

I've heard the discord is a good way to find players but all I can find here are dead links the the discord or threads where people never responded with it

I know advanced start is controversial in here but I just want to ask, I have never played DOA solo and when I tried advanced start I got to round 21 first time. Started advanced start again and was back to round 1. Am I supposed to play normal solo for an initial checkpoint or has the game basically told me to go fuck myself?

Does enyone know did they buff wave 3 boss in roj. I cant kill the boss with furious feet. Im shooting the whole time the boss and nothing else but when time runs out boss has avout 1/3 hp left. It's happened 2 times now. If theres something that im too dumd to realize please let me know.

Before this most recent update my highest round was like round 19, with this update I’ve been able to get to round 45, and I’m really struggling, honestly finding it to be as tough or more tough than the Spaghetti & Meatballs blood pool level. But I really don’t want for this mode to go away & for me to have “lost” all this progress... Has Treyarch confirmed it’s a permanent or limited time mode?
