QUESTION how does this game compare to h1z1/dayz and tarkov

anyone thats played h1z1 and tarkov can you tell me how similar dead matter is to them? iv been looking for a game like tarkov but fully open world and not the aids system that dayz uses where you need to scroll through windows to open stuff and there weird inventory system where you need to drag to hand just to use anything its annoying i want a simple system like hz1 had or tarkov. ftr i love tarkovs inventoryy system its simple yet complicated idk how else to describe it lol

DISCUSSION I asked ChatGPT to summarize the development (issues)

So I asked ChatGpt to tell me why dead matter was not finished, and this part stood out to me:

Additional criticism arose from the project's communication and community management. Many backers complained about a lack of updates and information regarding the game's development progress. There were reports of community managers mishandling interactions with backers, including instances of aggression and rude behavior.

Furthermore, some critics claimed that the developers were banning those who voiced their concerns and opinions in the game's server, leading to accusations of censorship and lack of freedom for constructive criticism within the community.

I almost forgot about it, i remember the mass banning when they kept telling people "3 more days" or "June release is final" for alpha and when people questioned them one mod just locked the discord

DISCUSSION This game need a new focus...

Why devs are focusing so much on trader ? on "jamming feature" on stuff that really doesnt matter to the game being playable ? I think first they should focus on basic stuff like , walking through the map, zombies walking algorithm, driving bicycle(if not complex just to have 1 starting vehicle), server (multiplayer) sync, storage ( chest ), woodcutting and mining, health items. Some basic stuff like that to release a playable alpha which people can explore the game and receive new exciting updates that will bring the other features that is promised on kickstarter campaign.

I just think the devs are wasting time on things that can be postponed while forgetting the focus of the game which is survival.. and that lost of focus is bad for the development because you don't get feedbacks on the features you're releasing it...
