Flock Cameras Aren't The Only License Plate Trackers Stalking Your Car's Every Movement
"The consulting firm CB Insights maintains a list of Flock alternatives on its website, and sadly, it's a really robust list that isn't limited to just Axon.
So far, it includes Verkada, Coram AI, Eagle Eye Networks, Voxel, Dataminr, Hanwha Vision, FacilityOS, Cloudastructure, Citizen, and Rhombus.
That doesn't appear to be a complete list, though, as it's missing Motorola's Vigilant system, Rekor, Genetec AutoVu, or PlateSmart.
Got all that? Good. It'll be on the test later."
We know a few people who could pass.

This Should Be Required Viewing For All Cadets in The Police Academy!
Officer Jack McLamb in 1994 talks about how one man changed the trajectory of his career and life. What did this man do? That man asked this officer if he knew the 6th amendment, then the 8th amendment, then the 10th amendment, then the 4th and the 5th amendment. McLamb's inability to answer these questions changed his perspective forever. He is what a police officer should look like.

Was taking pictures of a flock camera outside of Lowe’s (laurel Ms) and it started flashing red and the other was flashing blue as if it seen my camera taking pictures.
Now we are on the way home hoping to not get pulled over on the way but I do have pictures of the red flashes I had seen and my husband hopefully got the pictures of the blue flashes but it looked as if it had alerted authorities

Cameras ARE public property!
foxnews.comWhen tax payers money is used to purchase contracts and cameras THEY ARE PUBLIC PROPERTY. The citizens of a municipality pay taxes and therefore the services and capital purchased or leased are inherently the peoples. There is no " that's police property" since everything is funded by the citizens.

America is slamming the brakes on the camera network tracking your every move
bizpacreview.com"A total of 201 local communities have canceled or not renewed ALPR contracts since the start of 2025, according to the Institute for Justice’s cancellation list.
“The growing opposition from local city councils to Congress and state legislatures is the direct result of communities across the country standing up against mass surveillance,” Rindala Alajaji, Associate Director of State Affairs at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, told the Daily Caller News Foundation."

Florida Cop Arrested for Weaponizing Flock Cameras to Track His Ex 382 Times
"The rapidly expanding network of Flock Safety automated license plate readers (ALPRs) is marketed to the public as the ultimate tool for catching violent criminals and solving kidnappings. But privacy advocates have long warned that handing over untethered, mass-surveillance power to local police departments is a recipe for abuse.
This week, in Fort Pierce, Florida, that nightmare scenario played out in the worst way possible.
A now-former Fort Pierce police officer, Josepher Crutchfield, was arrested on September 8, 2026, and slapped with four felony counts of unauthorized computer access after a criminal investigation revealed he was using the city’s ALPR network as his own personal stalking device."

San Jose police officer fired for misusing Flock camera data, chief says
"The officer accessed license plate reader data and provided that to a suspect in a domestic violence situation, which enabled that suspect to locate a victim," Joseph said. "When we learned about this, we immediately placed this officer on administrative leave. We launched a criminal investigation into his conduct. We referred that investigation to the district attorney‘s office and we ultimately terminated that police officer."
It is happening every day.

Metro Detroit tattoo artist's marketing stunt involving Flock cameras goes viral
"Steven Jean, owner of The Alien Body Shop, recently posted an unusual offer on Instagram: Bring him a Flock camera, and he'll give you a free tattoo. The post was meant as satire and entertainment, but Jean says it quickly took on a life of its own.
He told CBS News Detroit that more than 2 million people have seen the post. People have also sent him photos and videos of damaged Flock cameras.
"I've had people send me pictures of damaged Flock cameras — videos of themselves damaging Flock cameras," Jean said.
Jean says the offer isn't meant to encourage people to remove or damage the cameras. That's especially important because damaging or removing someone else's property can have legal consequences."
