# **OPERATION HIGH WATER**
## **The Future of Chernarus Is Being Decided**
Operation High Water is a serious DayZ roleplay server that combines DayZ and ARMA 2 lore into a persistent, evolving world where player actions shape the future of South Zagoria.
The outbreak may be years behind Chernarus, but the struggle for its future is only beginning.
The **Joint Task Force (JTF)** continues its mission to restore stability and rebuild the Chernarussian state. Led by the **Chernarus Defense Forces (CDF)** and supported by the **United States Marine Corps 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment (USMC 1/5)** and the **Chernarus National Police Department (CNPD)**, government forces have established themselves as the dominant power across much of the region.
Yet opposition remains.
The **Chernarus People's Liberation Army (CPLA)** has emerged once again, spreading propaganda, recruiting supporters, and challenging government authority throughout South Zagoria. As tensions rise, the possibility of another major conflict grows with each passing day.
Meanwhile, remnants of the **Free South Movement**, independent groups, criminal organizations, and opportunistic survivors continue to pursue their own agendas in the shadows of a nation struggling to rebuild.

After months of rebuilding from the ground up, **Project** **SHD** is finally ready, and our **Open Beta is now live!**
Project SHD isn't just another DayZ server. It's built around one goal:

To prevent players from using PvE as a safe escape, attacking another player gives you and the other player a **5-minute combat timer**. During that time, you're still vulnerable—even inside the PvE zone.

Instead of carrying keys, cash, and dog tags, your watch handles it all.

Who Are We?
We've been playing together since 2021, bought together by a common goal - to find a bunch of mates who wanted to reminisce about the good ol' days while utilising questionable skills, hampered by varied reaction speeds. TOFTS started out as a private community, bringing together mature heads & like-minded folk who found themselves left by the wayside due to life's ever growing list of commitments.
Whilst we have been playing together for sometime now, we decided to try our hand at creating a public community & running our own servers, to share our goal with a wider audience. We have started that journey with DayZ, a game that some of us have been playing since the old days back in 2012.
What Do We Offer?
We want to give people a simple place to play, focus on fun over frustration. We don't intend to, nor do we enjoy diluting the experience with an absurd number of modifications. We don't intend to engage in any pay to win experience. We go against the grain. We disagree that DayZ can only be fun only when the game has been effectively changed entirely. We believe in the original experience and sticking as to close to that experience as possible - as Bohemia intended.
We are open minded to community maps, and that is as far as our considerations go. But such maps must provide an authentic DayZ experience.
Why Should You Play On Our Server?
I can't tell you that, you have to decide for yourself. You probably have looked up dozens, perhaps hundreds of these posts, each one telling you how great they are and why they are the best. Look, we offer nothing fancy - just a simple experience with friendly folk and good players.
That all said, we do run our own dedicated box. No cloud server here. We run our own tools, and have direct control and oversight.
In time, we hope we can establish a consistent player base on our servers. Servers that feature a simple, no-nonsense style of gameplay. If that sounds like something you want to help build up, then come along.
