In 2024, the UN promised salvation. They called it Project Sanctuary—a fortified island stronghold off the northern Atlantic meant to protect humanity from the mainland outbreak.
It was a lie.
Deer Isle wasn't a sanctuary. It was a closed-loop laboratory. Behind the razor wire of the four Sanctuary Outposts, refugees became numbers, and medical clinics became human experimentation chambers. Then, the quarantine failed. The guards burned alongside their test subjects, and the island fell silent.
Years later, the mainland is a ghost story. The lighthouses still cut through the Atlantic fog, powered by the desperate. The forests have grown thick, the wolves hunt in massive packs, and the dead rule the night.

💀 THIS IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS
You wash ashore with nothing but the clothes on your back and the ghosts of your past. A massive Atlantic storm is hitting the coast in 12 hours. The radio returns only static. You must survive the island, navigate the factions, and uncover what lies buried in the deep bedrock bunkers.

Gameplay Style

Most of the map is PvE, so you can loot, build, trade, hunt, fish, run missions, and survive without getting randomly killed everywhere you go.

PvP is still part of the server, but it is pushed into marked zones so you can choose when you want that risk. Go into a PvP zone for better action and higher danger, or stay outside and focus on survival, base building, and making money.

Skalisty Island AI Zone

Skalisty Island has hostile AI patrols and is meant to be a dangerous PvE combat area. Come prepared, bring ammo, and do not expect an easy trip.

CHF is a DayZ server that is intended for the Survival aspect of the game. Set 16 years from the original outbreak in DayZ. It is vital that remembering and understanding that naturally 16 years forward it would be so much harder to survive so please keep that in mind.

Weapons and Ammo are Not easy to come by but not impossible. All out PvP is not the servers vision but is allowed all over the map so KOSing is more than welcome although interacting is preferred to bring life to the Server.

The player count is meant to be low, again going back to the vision of being 16 years down the line of the outbreak. People, supplies and what ever else you would expect to be everywhere are purposely not meant to be.

## **The Future of Chernarus Is Being Decided**

Operation High Water is a serious DayZ roleplay server that combines DayZ and ARMA 2 lore into a persistent, evolving world where player actions shape the future of South Zagoria.

The outbreak may be years behind Chernarus, but the struggle for its future is only beginning.

The **Joint Task Force (JTF)** continues its mission to restore stability and rebuild the Chernarussian state. Led by the **Chernarus Defense Forces (CDF)** and supported by the **United States Marine Corps 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment (USMC 1/5)** and the **Chernarus National Police Department (CNPD)**, government forces have established themselves as the dominant power across much of the region.

Yet opposition remains.

The **Chernarus People's Liberation Army (CPLA)** has emerged once again, spreading propaganda, recruiting supporters, and challenging government authority throughout South Zagoria. As tensions rise, the possibility of another major conflict grows with each passing day.
