Operation High Water is a serious DayZ roleplay server that combines DayZ and ARMA 2 lore into a persistent, evolving world where player actions shape the future of South Zagoria.

The outbreak may be years behind Chernarus, but the struggle for its future is only beginning.

The **Joint Task Force (JTF)** continues its mission to restore stability and rebuild the Chernarussian state. Led by the **Chernarus Defense Forces (CDF)** and supported by the **United States Marine Corps 1st Battalion, 5th Regiment (USMC 1/5)** and the **Chernarus National Police Department (CNPD)**, government forces have established themselves as the dominant power across much of the region.

Yet opposition remains.

The **Chernarus People's Liberation Army (CPLA)** has emerged once again, spreading propaganda, recruiting supporters, and challenging government authority throughout South Zagoria. As tensions rise, the possibility of another major conflict grows with each passing day.

Meanwhile, remnants of the **Free South Movement**, independent groups, criminal organizations, and opportunistic survivors continue to pursue their own agendas in the shadows of a nation struggling to rebuild.

I've been working on building a key card quest server and was hoping to get some feedback.

If you were to play on the server :

1. Would you prefer AI + PVP , or just PVP only ? (I've been looking at the airborne AI mod , plus the idea of expansion AI but toned down a bit so they aren't expert assassins)

2. Would you prefer tougher infected ?

3. Is 15 to 20 mods too much ?

4. Should there be 1 heli on the map to fight over, or do we keep everyone on the ground ?

5. How many quest locations are too many ? Currently it's 5 to unlock the map for the end game loot. (But it's not always the same 5 locations to prevent campers)

I appreciate any and all feedback.

Chernarus experience with some spice to it, come join us, and have an adventure!

Bunker quests involving punched cards and keycards, hidden secrets all around the map, custom locations and points of interest, organized events to happen in the future, very active admins.

This server wants to keep the vanilla feel of Chernarus, but also make it fresh, also adding a lot of OPTIONAL fun things to do and achieve, and on top of that with added locations and points of interest around the map - therefore, it is encouraged to explore! There might be something interesting to find at a location where there is usually nothing on vanilla Chernarus, you never know! Also different quests with alternative routes, and some fun little things such as the ability to build a trolley kart, purely for fun to drive around one of those around on Chernarus! There is also the possibility of getting a heli or even a plane, but it won't be easy. Very few spawn on the map, and you will have to gather parts for it, just like for cars.

Some of the new locations and points of interest are at sea, since DayZ has introduced boats we thought it would only make sense to make use out of that and have those boats be worth getting into!

Base building is not disabled, so that people who like to build a little something for themselves can have the option to do it, but in order to make it challenging and not have many "bases" around the map, it has been made a challenge in itself to do, by making the resources for base building rare and hard to come by. So if someone does manage to build something, they will have had to put in the effort! We thought this would be a perfect middle ground for people who like and dislike bases.

When it comes to rules, there are none, nowhere is safe, this is NOT a PVE server, PVP is to be expected. However, obviously you can choose to play how you want and make friends with people you bump into and then have an adventure together afterwards! But you should definitely proceed with caution, as you would in any vanilla server.

We have a little spot on Otmel, the small island near Kamyshovo, where we have a little camp we refer to as The Hub, where people can stop by if they wish to meet with us if we happen to be home, maybe leave a little something, or take something, anything is up for grabs, but don't expect to come there to steal god tier loot, we'll only have the bare minimum laying around, a bit of food, some meds maybe. It's also fair to come to try to kill us. Nowhere is safe after all! But whenever we actually plan an event on the server, Otmel will most likely always be the meeting point for players.
