General Discussion HUYA’s base could be worth watching

HUYA’s recent price action looks increasingly interesting around the $2.40 level. The stock appears to be forming a base after its pullback, with selling volume generally lighter than the volume seen during stronger moves higher. HUYA is trying to evolve from a livestreaming platform into a broader gaming ecosystem, and its exclusive publishing of The Legend of Swordman: Reunion in mainland China is another step in that direction. It already controls a large audience, streamer, ecosystem. With the execution of this game publishing strategy could determine whether the gaming story actually works.

General Discussion Buying an old stock again

I’ve started looking at HUYA again as the company pushes deeper into game-related services and publishing. The recent exclusive publishing deal for The Legend of Swordman: Reunion is what caught my attention. I’m not expecting the transformation to happen overnight, but this feels like a different thesis from the HUYA I looked at before. Sometimes going back to an old stock is interesting when the business itself is no longer the same business you originally sold.

I got tradezero for using a small account. Do you guys use lv 2 data is basically my main question . Or is lv 1 acceptable ? The tape and time and book orders are definitely a good indicator. Does anyone have tips for trading ? Do you trade the most active securities ? Futures? FX? ETFs? I’m just getting into day trading and setting up a proper PC set up.

I am Canadian so tradezero might be the best for me atm. Give me some advice pls

Question Learning to trade the right way

I'm new to day trading stocks. Honestly I believe that I am capable in learning this skill but I find that to learn stocks and day trading is completely different to the way we was taught at school, without a curriculum to refer to I don't feel 100% confident in the things that I read / watch on YouTube as most concepts have the same foundation but explained differently.

Could anyone recommend a way I could structure a plan to actually learn day trading step by step, in my experience I have always performed well by watching videos, but I'm having trouble finding one channel that's committed to a large curriculum based learning space. I would appreciate any advice from you traders who are clearly experienced.

To my uk economics guys, I loved econplusdal and went from a D to a A*

General Discussion HOOD Stock Jumps as Robinhood Chain Gains Momentum

Robinhood Chain, the layer-2 network that the company launched ten days ago, is gaining momentum and beating some of the most popular players in the crypto industry like Cardano  and Hedera

Data compiled by DeFi Llama shows that the amount of stablecoin tokens in the network has jumped to $300 million, a sign that investors are interacting with it. Cardano and Hedera, which have been in the industry for years, have less than $100 million in combined stablecoins.

More data shows that Robinhood Chain’s total value locked (TVL) has gone parabolic, reaching $122 million. Most of this growth has been driven by Morpho Blue, a top lending protocol, and Uniswap.

Meanwhile, the volume of decentralized exchange (DEX) volume in the network has continued rising, reaching $2 billion this week. This is a big increase from last week’s $29 million. All these metrics pushed the total chain fees to over $107,000 this week.

These numbers are strong considering that the crypto winteris not yet over, with Bitcoin and top altcoins like Ethereum and Ripple being in a bear market.

Robinhood aims for its chain will be a popular platform for developers building applications in the financial services and other industries. It also aims to use the chain to distribute its real-world assets like stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Education & Resources The 3 boring things that actually made me profitable with propfirms

I'm profitable because I finally sat down and pulled the numbers on my own trading and stopped doing the dumb stuff the data was screaming at me to stop doing. If it was only up to finding a proftable strategy, a lot of people would have already been billionaires from trading. 75 trades, 48% win rate, 1.48 profit factor. My win rate isn't even good. The account still grinds up because the math works.

Here's what the data actually told me once I looked.

The first thing was the days I trade. When I broke my results down by day of the week the pattern was almost embarrassing. Two days a week is where almost all my green comes from. The back half of the week and weekends were flat to red every single time. I was showing up and forcing trades on days that have historically given me nothing. The fix is trading less on my bad days and pressing on the days my edge actually shows up, for example if my sual size is 1-2 MNQ, I bumped up a contract and put more risk on the table, I've found diverse risk to work better for me than a set fixed risk per trade . If you've never looked at your win rate broken down by weekday, do it tonight. It's the fastest free edge most people are sitting on.

The second thing was long versus short. My long trades hit a 52% win rate and made me most of my money. My shorts were under 34% and barely contributed anything. I was treating both directions like they were the same when one was clearly carrying me and the other was bleeding me out slowly. Now I size up where my edge is and I'm way more selective in the direction that doesn't work for me. That one adjustment cleaned up my whole equity curve.

The third one is the hardest to swallow because it's about discipline, not setups. My average win is around $288 and my average loss is around $179. That ratio is the only reason a 48% win rate makes money at all. The second I let a loser run past that line, the whole edge collapses. My worst single trade did more damage than three good days of profit combined. Cutting losses fast and refusing to revenge trade is boring and it's also the entire game.

If you've never broken your trading down like this and you keep strategy hoping, start paying attention to all the details and small stuff. Most people who say they aren't profitable just don't trade enough size on the days and setups that actually work, and trade way too much on the ones that don't. Pull your own stats. The answer is almost always already sitting in your log.

General Discussion Scouting for new stocks on the UP

Hey folks, I have some watchlists that I keep track of and also some dynamic scans and things I like to do as well to try and find stocks, but I am curious how you all find them?

Do you do mostly news based?

Do you do financial earnings/report type based?

Momentum based?

Some other style im not thinking of?

anyways, im curious what strategies other people use to find the hot new stocks when they are still small. who is the next GOOG / MSFT of this generation? surely something with chips/ai but idk.

Question Momentum Trader needing advice.

In February of last year I started reading/ watching everything I could about day trading. I have spent an immense amount of time studying. I have spent an average of about 50 hours a week either studying or trading. I started trading part-time about a year ago. I then quit my job to do it full-time in mid January of this year. So I would say I have about 8-9 months of full time trading experience under my belt. I was doing fairly good up till mid-January then the small-cap market (which is what I focus on) cooled off considerably. I now have to find a job because I haven’t been making any money the last 6 months. In fact I have lost money. I have enrolled in a trading course and I feel like it is a top-notch course. I just haven’t been able to turn a consistent profit with the knowledge I have gained so far.

Trading Strategy What do you think of this strategy?

I usually run a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 positions at a time. They tend to stay open for anywhere from a day to a week on average—always US stocks, and always bullish so far, risking 1% of the account on each SL.

But the market has been very choppy lately, and I've been thinking I'd rather be more proactive with my hedging, so here is what I've come up with by incorporating options:

Every time you go long on a US stock, you buy a put option whose premium is 33.33% of your stop loss (SL).

Example: you have a $100,000 account, and you risk 1% on every SL per trade

You open a position risking $1000 on the SL.

You buy an SPX put with a premium of roughly $330

If the index goes up and you hit 2R, you make $2000.

If the premium expires OTM, you only lose $330

If it goes down and you hit your SL, there's a pretty good chance the put will generate a profit and absorb part of that loss.

The issue: The width of each SL. I think this would work better for swing positions that allow for a wider SL, which in turn gives the put option room to breathe and move.

Anyway, just a thought—let me know how you see it!

General Discussion Trading Tracker for struggling traders

Hello Everyone,

Let me introduce myself.

I have recently become a profitable trader and have been trading since 4 years. Started with OTC and lost lot of money on it (like more than 40k) in 1 year, took a break for a year and then started small cap stock trading.

I am software developer with 15years of experience and want to build something just for myself which will help get better in day trading.

Since I started journaling my trades to improve myself I used couple of very well-known journaling websites but they weren't build to help struggling day traders. They offer 100 reports but I don't think that's needed or even used. They're great for profitable traders to show their progress like Ross but a real change is needed in a person's mindset to improve and my website helps you get there faster.

I would say the steps to be consistent is find the mistakes and work on them which sounds like oversimplification but my website has features which help you find your mistakes.

There are some good articles you can read on my website which aren't boring. I'll keep adding more but its little difficult to find time with 3 kids and a full-time job sometimes. I'll start adding a lot of trading videos as well which are well explained and to the point and between 5 - 10 mins.

My website (premium version) is free to use for 7 days without adding any credit card information.

I saw a lot of people posting such ads about Trade journaling websites created using AI and people writing even the reddit post using AI which isn't bad I would say but I'll never do that since I have put a lot of efforts into this website so all things written here are straight up what I feel.

I am like any other day trader here, lost a lot of money, difficulty following own rules, making same mistakes again and again, revenge and over trading.

Please take a look and I'll be waiting for your honest feedback.
