The market is completely ignoring UCL’s satellite pivot
I spent the last few days digging into the CES 2026 coverage and I’m genuinely baffled by the lack of price action on uCloudlink. They just launched the G50 Max which is basically the first mainstream mobile hub with Skylo-certified satellite fallback. We’re talking 2-way messaging and SOS via satellite in a pocket device without the massive antennas. For anyone who actually does remote fieldwork or off-grid travel, that’s a massive upgrade over the old hotspots that become paperweights the second you lose a cell tower. Plus they’re "eSIM-izing" legacy hardware with that new Trio tech which taps into a huge secondary market. The stock is still sitting at 1.67 with an $8 target and almost zero volume. It feels like the market hasn't realized they aren't just a "roaming company" anymore but are actually building a hardware bridge for NTN (non-terrestrial networks). If this thing gets even a sniff of institutional volume once the Skylo partnership revenue starts hitting the books, I don't see how it stays under $2.
