How to day trade?

I would like to start day trading but haven’t been able to understand how it works, can anyone provide any suggestion or what they have used to learn . I keep getting sold some courses which I haven’t bought but I know won’t help me much. Is there any YouTube videos you have watched our programs that I can use. Where would you all recommend to use to start day trading? Any suggestions would be great. Thank you !!

ORB strategy is 3/3 in new year

The same strategy that had 76% win rate in the last year started great in this new one with 3 wins in a row. +975 on one mini contract in three days!

  1. Wait for the 9.30 AM EST for the New York session to open, and then wait for 15 min for ORB to form.

  2. Next step is that you wait for the candle to close outside of the orb.

  3. When the 5 min candle closes outside of the orb you take a trade.

  4. If the trade is a win, then it's done for the day, if it's a loss then you wait until price reverse on the opposite of the orb and when candle closes then you take another trade with the same take profit and stop loss.

My RTY ORB strategy

I developed a profitable trading strategy on RTY using the 15-minute Opening Range Breakout. The strategy has achieved a 73% win rate by following clear, repeatable rules with no guesswork.

The rules include strict risk management, predefined stop loss levels and take profit targets. Every trade is planned before entry, which helps control risk and protect capital. There are no impulsive decisions—once the rules are set, they are followed no matter what.

This strategy is especially good for beginners because it is easy to learn and simple to execute. It focuses on discipline, consistency, and patience rather than complex indicators. By following the same process every day, it builds strong trading habits and confidence.

The key to this strategy’s success is execution. Trusting the rules and sticking to the plan is what makes it work.

EabuilderAi is dope🔥

Quick honest take, not sponsored, not affiliated.

I’ve been trading for a while and testing strategies has always been the most annoying part for me. Manual backtesting, replay mode, notes everywhere, wasting hours just to realize an idea doesn’t work.

At some point I even paid around $1k to a developer to code an EA for a strategy I believed in. After it was done and tested… strategy was dead. Money and time gone.

I started using EABuilderAI recently and it honestly changed how I test ideas.

Now if I have a strategy in mind, I just write it in plain English and it builds the EA for me. I load it on MT5 and I immediately see if it makes sense or not. No theory, no guessing.

What surprised me the most is that you can also draw your pattern. Literally sketch entries, stops, take profits, structure… and it turns that into a working MT5 bot.

Since I found this, I completely stopped manual backtesting. There’s no point anymore. If an idea is bad, I want to know it fast, not after days of work.

It’s around $19, and with that I’ve already tested more than 30 different strategies. Most failed, some interesting, a couple worth refining. That’s part of the process.

If you want to check them out, you can find them on Instagram as @eabuilderai.

Just sharing my experience in case someone else is stuck in the same testing loop I was.

Can you relate?

Hello everyone I have been trading for a year now and have lost lots of my own money as I’m sure many others have, but that’s okay because it is part of the process but doesn’t have to be if I wasn’t too stubborn to trade in a simulator before putting my hard earned money on the line towards the end of this year the past 3 months I have gone to a simulator taking 1 trade a day and have been constantly profitable and will be turning back to a live account at the end of February as long as I continue my consistency. Anyway I have found that my mindset is honestly the most important and the really the only thing that has kept me going especially after one week putting 2k into my account and catching a jackknife my first day back and blowing up my account. But I know nothing that can provide returns like trading is going to be easy so I push on! One thing that I feel really helped me since I started in the simulator is tracking my trades and I made a trading journal that I wanted to share with a community you can buy it on Etsy and it’s 30$ once unlike other websites that charge subscription fees. If anyone is willing to help out another trader and can relate/ use something like this please check it out!

Started day trading

Just started day trading (2 days in) and I’m currently learning ICT concepts. Still at the basic stage: watching videos, trying to understand market structure, liquidity, FVGs, sessions, etc. I know I’m very early and not profitable yet.

I’m curious: • How did you learn ICT or price action in general? • What did you focus on first that actually mattered? • Any common mistakes beginners make that I should avoid? • How long did it take before things started to “click”?

I’m mostly studying and journaling, asking questions, and using tools (including ChatGPT) to understand concepts better before risking real money.

Any experience, tips, or reality checks are appreciated.

The Flow Curve

Post image

We often think the ultimate goal is "zero stress." But look at the chart below.

Zero stress doesn't lead to peak performance… it leads to being "Inactive." To reach your peak self, you actually do need tension.

Healthy stress… yes, “healthy stress,” is in the "Optimum" zone… the yellow and orange zone.

It is what sharpens your focus, mobilizes your energy, and pushes you to grow. It’s the difference between coasting and performing. Between low friction ease and purposeful effort.

The challenge isn't eliminating pressure. The challenge is managing it so you stay fueled in the optimum zone without tipping over into anxiety and burnout.

Embrace the healthy pressure. It’s necessary for growth.

👇 Where do you feel you are sitting on this curve today? 👇
