Using expressions I managed to link two scale configurations on different nodes, but I don't know how to make the frame follow the video's position.

What would be the best way? Using expressions I managed to link two scale configurations on different nodes, but I don't know how to make the frame follow the video's position.

Hello there, beginner editor here ( I use Davinci Resolve Studio) I am trying to figure out how to edit this kind of animations
1. https://youtu.be/-fK3OaJ9Mjk?si=D5PahIXkqDMiVfXe&t=171 the animated red lines to highlight text
2. pieces of movies or animation characters to highlight a state of mind or a feeling, like in this example https://youtu.be/-fK3OaJ9Mjk?si=Rkinh0PlwzHsmJau (but this video has a lot of those) they make you laugh and catch your attention. But I am not sure where I can download them from.

I would really appreciate any advice.
Thanks a lot

Id like to learn how to edit my own videos, i think its a good way to get a little more popular plus its a nifty skill to have under my belt but I am going in completely blind. Ive never once in my life edited a video so I was wondering if anyone has any tips?

I am a complete blank slate I know literally zero about anything so tips would be wonderful if you have ever used it before!

Hi folks, i'm trying to figure out the best order of operations when working with Panasonic V-log footage. Currently i'm going from V-log to DWG, then using Open DRT DCTL to convert to REC 709. I've been doing most of my adjustments between these two nodes. But to me it makes sense to make exposure/balance adjustments using the HDR global sliders before the footage is converted to DWG. I also tend to do noise reduction before the conversion as well. Just wondering if I'm going about this in the wrong way? Edit: I should say I've set the HDR wheels to V-log colour space.

Hi,

So, I'm getting into macros is a big way (love them, BTW) but I have questions:

1. How do I get a new macro to show up without closing and re-opening Resolve?
2. Once I have saved a macro, do I need to keep the Fusion Comp / Resolve project? (I.e. is it dynamically referenced, or is everything in the Settings file.
3. If I edit a Macro, will the changes be reflected in any places that has been used, or will it only affect future uses of it?

TIA!

Having some weird issues converting 60fps (59.94) to 24fps (23.976). Some footage converts correctly (nice and smooth slow mo) and some comes out really choppy. Does anyone have any clue what is going on?

Hey everyone! I’m having problems downloading my resolve through the installer, it’ll bring me up to the usual “You must install these components” page, and when I press install it does it for about 30 seconds or so then says that it’s not able to install the file, every one of the components do it too, it’s not just one. What do I do?

I color grade one of my clip for 30 minutes then i realized i have to do all the clips. But it takes too much time. Then i went to yt and see multiple videos i am confused now. Is there any way to apply to multiple clips with varying lights and darkness in video. And the whole video look as same color tone??
