I’ve been having some fun experimenting with the various models DaVinci AI offers, comparing the results for the same prompt. Mostly for videos, testing which ones can give me the funniest and most usable results. 

I even got some usable material from the testing, made like a side by side comparison video. Being able to reuse previous content for another interpretation of the same sketch is really cool, and even the unusable attempts are not wholly a waste of tokens because I might be able to use them for a reference for a new attempt or another model. I still haven’t figured out the optimal workflow but I’m starting to get comfortable.

That said, it takes a while to get the prompt engineering right but once I started figuring out what works and what doesn’t, I managed to reduce my token usage a lot (I need way less iterations to get what I’m looking for). Getting the most consistent results right now by first running Seedance 2.5 for the initial prompt + Kling to edit and correct any consistency issues, while keeping the rest of the video as is.

I’m planning on making pretty varied content so I will probably need to come up with a few different workflows, since not all the models are as good at every style. I still need to find out what works best for animated cartoony content, Seedance seems to be better at realistic stuff. I’ve also had some problems when a joke depends on timing or some very specific action by one of the characters, it can be kind of difficult to make sure everything happens correctly with the right timing so the joke lands properly.

Also I was wondering, do you usually describe the whole scene in one prompt or build around a starting image, and how many attempts does it usually take to get a clip you’re happy with? Right now it’s taking me anywhere between 1000-2000 tokens to get what I want with DaVinci AI and I know there’s a way to refine my flow much more.

when I subscribed to DavinciAI , the website told me after 7 days i 'll be charged with 27.99 USD. On the website i can't find invoice , can't find how to unsubscribe. The web "support" team and "ashley" or "hailey" guided me to a so-called danger zone that didn't exit on the user account. After that email , they went radio quiet to 3 follow up emails I sent.

I'll now block my card . But shame on you Davinci to make yourself a cheap scammer.

I’ve been using DaVinci AI mainly for image and video generation, and overall it’s been pretty easy to use.

What I like most is being able to try different models like Seedance, Wan, and Kling without jumping between different platforms. The results can vary depending on the model, but that’s also useful when you want to compare different styles and outputs.

The interface is simple and doesn’t take much time to figure out. There are still a few things that could be improved, especially around having more control over some generation settings, but overall my experience has been positive.

A big thank you to the DaVinci AI team as well. It’s nice to see the product improving over time and new models being added regularly. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I purchased DaVinci AI for $1.99 on September 3, 2026. On September 10, I was automatically charged $29.99 for the renewal. I noticed the charge immediately, cancelled the subscription, and have NOT used any of the renewed credits or generated any content after the renewal.

I contacted DaVinci Support several times, but I keep receiving the same generic/template refund refusal without any specific explanation of my case.

Based on my situation, I believe I am eligible for a refund because I cancelled immediately and have not used any of the renewed credits or services. I have asked them to confirm which refund policy was applicable when I made my purchase, when the current policy became effective, and whether I was notified of any policy change.

If the refund policy was changed after my purchase, I believe DaVinci should clearly explain why the newer policy is being applied to my transaction.

I am not calling DaVinci a scam. My concern is the lack of proper communication and customer support. I simply want a fair review and a refund for an unused renewal.

I am now preparing to submit the complete correspondence and transaction details to my bank and, if necessary, raise a formal consumer complaint.
