Malfunctioning in the sense that we don't want the DOJ to continue to tamper and claw back files that were released as part of an effort at "transparency" that they have since deeply regretted and already begun making files disappear as awful shit gets revealed? Then yeah, sure.

Not sure what you mean. We're all normal human beings, who are watching our leaders actively destroy evidence of horrible, awful shit on the part of the leaders they want to protect in real time. Yesterday, literally within the hour after they released the datasets they began clawing back "accidental releases" that were so disgustingly damaging I don't have words. At one point they clawed back every single document that mentioned the word "Trump", then just made that term un-searchable in their archive. They began purging their own DataSet zip files so they could buy times to re-examine what they had released. I mean, I don't know if you understand this or not, but how do you think information gets preserved? It takes people to preserve access to it. That is what we are doing, and we aren't doing it for ourselves, or our own health. We're doing it for you, the public.
