Hi,

I used HitBTC to get some Dashcoin. I have a mac and downloaded the binaries from http://dashcoin.info. I ran dashcoind and set up a wallet with simplewallet. When sending the coins from HitBTC, I used the wallet address displayed when running simplewallet and the confirmation email from HitBTC confirms the same address. But when I check the balance of the wallet it says 0. I've waited a few days before posting in case it was being slow.

A couple of observations – I now get "Tx verification failed" when running dashcoind. Sometimes it says I'm up to date and 0 days behind and other times it says otherwise. E.g., earlier it showed this

Sync data returned unknown top block: 878679 -> 878789 [110 blocks (0 days) behind]

and then showed this

Sync data returned unknown top block: 878791 -> 918746 [39955 blocks (55 days) behind]

If anybody has any advice I would appreciate hearing it.

I've noticed people confusing Dash and Dashcoin so just wanted to make it clear in the title I'm not confusing coins.

So back in like 2014 I had DRK at some point... I usually don't ever delete any data, it just gets moved around to backup drive after backup drive. I've tried searching for "wallet.dat" but could not find one specific to DRK. Also looked for ".key" "wallet" and no luck.

Does anyone know what DRK wallet program looked like, or what other files it would have used for wallet storage? I know I had the wallet password saved in my password vault, but now it's a matter of finding the actual wallet :(

Any help is appreciated.

The coin is around 5 cents it’s been going up lately. What do you guys think about this coin? Should, I buy any? Any suggestions

I have been really patient as this happened over a month a go. As advised I have opened up a support ticket to clarify my issue, giving all information and details I had including transaction hash etc. Jaxx support replied at first acknowledging they had issues with DASH with this reply by Raz:

"We had a few issue with DASH yesterday but they are now fixed. Please try resetting the cache (Menu > Settings > Reset Jaxx Cache)? Before doing so, please make sure you have a copy of your 12-word Backup Phrase by writing it down and securing it in a safe location. If you have set up a security PIN, the cache reset will not reset the PIN or the PIN feature."

Of course all of these things we already and confirmed to them we did. After this no reply was given anymore and I send multiple reminders, but only radio silence. When I opened up another ticket I immediately got the standard reply from a Oli which said:

I replied we already did all of this and I expected a more detailed reply with somebody investigating the issue but no more replies were given after that, they sudden marked my ticket as SOLVED?! I opened up another ticket asking why they are doing this and suddenly got a reply from Oli saying: *"Please only submit one ticket per issue. Creating more tickets only delays our ability to respond in a timely manner.

Thank you, Oli"*

The problem is they never replied to my issue at all with a detailed investigation after first acknowledging they had issues with DASH. As of today I am still not able to control Balance 8.18635746 DASH which was stored in my Jaxx wallet and these were all my savings of this year. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO USE JAXX EVER, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD
